Celestia, while surveying her kingdom, is informed of a strange, rather mad bipedal prisoner in macabre dressings and wielding a number of strange possessions...along with a bloodied kitchen knife.

In a dystopian future Equestria, Celestia lives in a city under the control of Nightmare Moon and her army of evil robots. After creating and losing her robotic daughter Trixie, she builds another; Twilight Sparkle, the ultimate equine robot. Filled with a desire to avenge her sister and stop nightmare, Twilight prepares herself to fight for the ponies of the city. But would the ponies she fights for help her in her hour of need?

Rainbow dash gets the surprise of her life when she finds out Gilda and Pinkie pie are engaged, but even more surprising is how excited everypony else is for the upcoming ceremony. Can Rainbow dash learn to cope with her jealousy and be the best mare her friend deserves? Can Gilda deal with all these crazy ponies without snapping? Can Spike find anyone to date him?
