Twilight Sparkle finally did it. She watched the foals' television show 'My Little Human: Progress Is Scientific', and she felt totally blown away. Designed by Princess Luna herself, the program features a rock band of six creatures known as 'humans' who ride around 'Guyville' in a car powered by music and solve problems using the power of science. Twilight checked out a fan website called PISfiction.net, and she decided to join the community of 'humies' ('humares' if the fan is female) by writing a steamy fanfic, which fans called 'fapfics'. Unfortunately, Twilight found out that being an author was a lot harder than she had first imagined.

A new colt moves to Ponyville and Scootaloo begins acting strangely, forcing Sweetie Belle to choose between her friends and her conscience. Meanwhile, the colt's fathers, looking for a new beginning, discover just how far making assumptions will get them.

Apple Bloom and her friends give their clubhouse a fresh coat of paint and on a whim Sweetie Belle decides to watch it dry. Scootaloo doesn't quite see the point, but some things, such as summer afternoons, are beyond analysis.

The glamorous unicorn Opalescence is haunted by bizarre recurring dreams of a world in which she and her friends are all animals. But as vivid as these dreams are, surely they're just dreams, right? There couldn't actually be a parallel universe somewhere where they're little more than pets ... right?

Bon Bon has been deeply in love with Lyra for almost as long as they have known each other. Every day is a blessing for the two lovers. But as Bon Bon starts to feel under the weather, will Lyra uncover a dark secret that will rip the two mares apart and leave only hate, sadness, and fear in it's wake?
