Twilight Sparkle, pulling another late night, is finally confronted about by Spike and Starlight Glimmer. She reveals that she's been studying one of the realities she saw, specifically the one seemingly ruled by Flim and Flam. She just can't figure out how those two con artists could be as much of a threat as, say, Tirek or Nightmare Moon.

And then Discord shows up, telling her that she's looking at her information wrong. He volunteers to show Twilight, Spike, and Starlight what that reality is really like...

This story is a sequel to Hard Reset

This is a followup story of Hard Reset, and talks about the experience of living in a loop from a more "slice of life" point of view, rather than adventures all the time. The original story ended several months after the reset point,‭ ‬and mentions the possibility that the time magic is still potent.‭ ‬The author feels like this is an important point that requires expansion.‭ ‬In fact,‭ ‬this is the most important point.

In this story, Twilight goes through her cyclic lives in a desperate and somewhat comedic search for meaning, but mostly just to avoid going mad from boredom.

During one of Twilight's visits to her friends through the mirror, she is confronted with information that leads her to question more about the differences between the two dimensions.

This, characteristically, begins to get out of hand when Twilight decides she must get to the bottom of it. And to be fair, how can she let it slide when Pinkie has done something that doesn’t make any sense for her? She must know how Pinkie can possibly have a boyfriend in that dimension.

Twilight Sparkle finally did it. She watched the foals' television show 'My Little Human: Progress Is Scientific', and she felt totally blown away. Designed by Princess Luna herself, the program features a rock band of six creatures known as 'humans' who ride around 'Guyville' in a car powered by music and solve problems using the power of science. Twilight checked out a fan website called PISfiction.net, and she decided to join the community of 'humies' ('humares' if the fan is female) by writing a steamy fanfic, which fans called 'fapfics'. Unfortunately, Twilight found out that being an author was a lot harder than she had first imagined.
