2540 years before Nightmare Moon returned from her banishment, centuries before both unicorns and pegasi came into existence, and nearly a millennia and a half before the two sisters would even be born; it was the year 2549 of Emperor Grogar the Immortal’s reign.

For over two and a half millennia Grogar had reigned as the undisputed emperor of Equestria with an iron hoof. Millenia of killing the treacherous and rewarding the loyal has left the government filled with yes men and the population was kept in line with fear of the God that ruled their lands. None dared to question his rule but the land was at peace.

Yet now of all times, the seemingly untouchable God like Emperor of All will be killed in his sleep. What fate awaits Equestria when the pillar of all society, government, and even religion is suddenly killed…

This story is a midquel to Passing On Together telling what happened between chapters 1 and 2. Was for a long time deleted and combined into one story after being edited. Luster Dawn New Days. Read whichever one you want but this is one of the two original stories brought back at the request of another user.

Luster Dawn, daughter of Starlight and Sunburst goes off on her own journey, from the school of magic and back to her hometown of Ponyville where she makes new friends and learns the greatest magic of all like her mentor before. But little does Luster know that an ancient evil is reemerging in Equestria, and it will be up to her to stop it.

Authors Notes: These stories use a theory I developed gathering info through the mlp wiki rather than the widely believed theory that immortality is the ability of alicorns.

If you believe immortality is a gift you are entitled to your opinion, but please be respectful. I'm trying to give people who don't want Twilight to suffer the curse of immortality an alternative. I would not read this if you are someone who firmly believes immortality is a gift.

Grogar, the lord of evil in the form of a goat, has grown weary of his imprisonment in the Shadow Realm. He contemplates the many failed aspects of his life, and even tries taking it. But, as always, his faithful servant Bray manages to convince him otherwise. Based on a Scene from 'Hook'.

Grogar, the Father of Monsters, retrieves his Bewitching Bell which was sealed on top of Mt. Everhoof. Once he reactivates his long-lost artifact, the Bell awakes itself and beholds its old master and friend. They have a strong connection which not even the Treacherous Trio would understand or grasp. Both the ram and the Bell have plenty of secrets to share as they have their first one-on-one conversation after so many years of absence from each other.

(Note: This happens after MLP:FIM season 9 episode 8 “Frenemies”.)

The history of Equestria spans dozens of centuries, and many terrible foes have risen up from the past to threaten the future once more, only to be defeated.

When a vicious and powerful enemy older than any Twilight, her friends, or even the Princesses have faced before returns, they will have to reach out to an ally just as ancient for help... but is she still the heroine she once was?

This story takes place after the end of Season 3.
