King Sombra has taken back the Crystal Empire and imprisoned both Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. Any day now, Shining expects word of their scheduled executions. When Sombra comes and asks for a single one of them for retribution, the heroic stallion offers himself without hesitation. Now he only wished he listened to the whole endeavor before volunteering.

It was an annoyance at times, and she felt trapped. Of course, Octavia rebelled against it; her family knew what was best and what kind of pony wouldn't want to be perfect?

One day, she meets a homeless mare named Vinyl Scratch and immediately takes her in and asks her to be her servant. Vinyl opens Octavia's eyes, telling her that she's capable of making her own decisions, and that her family simply needed to accept her.

A fic between characters and friends Dapples and Prose when they decide to ditch the prom in exchange for a night out in Canterlot. The prologue is credited to Doctor Dapples, the rest to me.

Having a crush on a naive pony doesn't help matters either, even if she is the hottest nurse in Ponyville. After yet another accident, Redheart is forced to make a house call for Ditzy Doo. Hopefully she can stay professional in close proximity with the object of her affections.

Sombra Writing Prompt Contest.

King Sombra is assigning the crystal ponies to different parts of the crystal mines. A young stallion named Ivory tries to stand up to him. King Sombra, impressed with the stallion's valor, names him head regent of the Crystal Excavation Project. Viceroy Theoria, a fellow unicorn and King Sombra's second in command, doesn't trust Ivory and investigates him as a potential threat to the crown.

(Rated T for implied M/M Rape and violence) This story also links with the Helioselenian Universe, but it is not required reading to understand it.
