A year after Pipsqueak loses his brother in an accident, he is now living in Ponyville and approached by the CMC to join their Camping Crusade for cutie marks. Despite his apprehensions, he joins them, while the memories he and his brother shared plague him. Can Pipsqueak get over the pain and have fun with his new friends? And when danger approaches, will he have the strength to get himself and the CMC to safety?

I actually had this story up before his, but due to my extensive editing, it shows that this story came after his. Derpy Hooves is a normal Pegasus, living in a small house with her daughter, Dinky and her room mate, Carrot Top. One day, her life gets flipped upside down after she witnesses her daughter getting caught in a serious accident.

Rainbow Dash is a headstrong, athletic pony who is utterly faithful to her friends and doesn't keep any secrets from them. Or so she pretends. Yet a surprise visit from Twilight Sparkle is about to blow the secret wide open, and the multi-hued pegasus will find out just how strong their friendship is.

Note: This story was written in the week following the airing of "May The Best Pet Win", and well before "Read It and Weep" was even known about. As such it haws since been overtaken by canon, but most folk tend to like it still so I will upload it here so I have a bit of a presence on FIMfiction beyond "lurker #347,921".

This story also includes "The Unrelated Epilogue" which is a mini-story based on a loose bit in the main one that I felt did not stand on its own, but that I wanted up nonetheless. It has Luna, but not RD or TS.

Twilight finds all this studying of magic rarely lends itself an opportunity to use it. Until a certain arrogant unicorn shows up to tout her abilities. It's the perfect opportunity to show the town her magical prowess...almost too perfect.

After fleeing from Ponyville, Trixie scolds herself for ruining another grand opportunity in her career as a showmare. Once she remembers that most her belongings were forgotten on the small town, Trixie rushes back to retrieve them. It is then that she meets another pony, unbiased and unprejudiced, who unawarely gives the cerulean showmare a nudge in the right direction.
