The Crystal Empire has returned, and Princess Celestia has given Twilight Sparkle an important task: to save the Crystal Empire. Along with her friends, they try to recreate the Crystal Fair that had lifted the spirits of the Crystal ponies so long ago. But when she finds the Crystal Heart, King Sombra's magic traps her at the top of the castle, and instead of realizing Spike can help, she gets too caught up trying to escape. The Crystal Heart is hidden once again, and Sombra has captured Twilight and Spike. Sombra's army grows, and the whole of Equestria must stand together to battle this ancient evil.

Basically, I like the Crystal War segment of the Season 5 finale so much, I created an AU.

The day of Princess Twilight's Friendship Festival has arrived, and the Order-naries were personally invited to attend. Unfortunately, due to poor time management, the four mercenary heroes and their werewolf friend Samantha are running very late, and mechanical issues with the last train to Canterlot aren't helping matters. When they finally arrive, they find not a party but a foreign power occupying the city, ponies in chains, and murmurs of captured Princesses and missing Element Bearers.
Unprepared and ill-equipped for another world-saving adventure, the Order-naries nevertheless set forth to figure out what's happened and whose flanks need to be kicked in order to set things right.

The Storm King is defeated, Equestria is saved, and all of the allies made have gone their separate ways to live their lives free from the tyrant's rule. Everything should be alright... except Twilight Sparkle is haunted night after night by dreams of her own actions. Actions that almost caused a rift between her and the ponies she holds so dear, leading her to question her worth as the Princess of Friendship.

Meanwhile, in the world of Angel Land, a returning threat has begun to arise. After a decade of Palutena's Army and Viridi's Forces of Nature fighting over humanity's right to live, the Underworld Army has returned to resume what they started: the killing and consuming of human souls. However, they've set their sights upon a new world: Equestria itself.

Upon realizing this, the two warring armies must quickly band together yet again to stop this threat and save this new world. Together, both sets of heroes will learn what friendship really means, and Twilight will understand the true essence of her role as princess.

As much as things are back to normal, Twilight still feels guilty about stealing the pearl back at the throne room in Seaquestria. Queen Novo won't accept Twilight's apology unless Twilight throws a party that can impress her. It's up to the Mane 7 to impress Queen Novo to make up the mistake Twilight did.

During the restored Friendship Festival, Twilight knows she has an apology to make to Queen Novo.

A short oneshot to tie some loose ends from the movie.

In "A Canterlot Wedding," Twilight Sparkle was screamed at by her brother and banned from the wedding, and immediately after her friends and mentor walked out on her in disgust, not even looking at her.

But what if they didn't?

What if instead, they saw how miserable she was at how her brother treated her and stayed behind to comfort her and assure her that things would be okay?

Canterlot Wedding. You know how it goes. Evil changeling queen impersonates the princess, takes control of the heroine's brother, conflict, betrayal, reunion, conflict resolution, wedding scene, the end. But this all begs the questions; what if Cadance and Twilight hadn't made it in time to stop Chrysalis from the wedding?

The storm king's army is broken and with his defeat, the hippogriffs once more wish to renew the pact of friendship they made with Equestria all those years ago. Giving princess Skystar the perfect chance to see her six new friends, and more importantly the pony she spent all night partying with.
