When Fluttershy witnesses something too shocking and grim for her timid wittle brain to handle, Twilight Sparkle takes it upon herself (with a little help from willing friends) to rid the pegasus of her post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms and get her back to her normal self again. Little does Twilight know that she has important lessons to (re)learn from the ordeal...

This is my first attempt at fan-fiction, and I wasn't planning on posting it here until after it was finished; I only wrote it because it was fun to write. First-person from Twilight's perspective. Very heavy on the slice-of-life, bits of funnies here and there.

I love you so
Till seeds turn to trees
With you, I will be.”

Find out the true meaning of the phrase "I would like to be a tree" through an untold part of the train ride to Appleloosa. Because we all need to understand, hardly any phrase is muttered without a story behind it.

Everypony knows how much Rainbow Dash loves to scare other ponies, but could her innocent pranking possibly go too far?
After the mane six take a camping trip to the Everfree Forest, Rainbow will learn just how easily "a little fun" can get way out of hoof. Everyone's favorite prismatic pegasus will have to learn a lesson about respect for the comfort zones of her friends, especially a particularly timid yellow mare.
Will Dash be able to overcome her pride to do what is right?

From the outside, Fluttershy is a very quiet, sensitive, and timid pony with a few very close friends. Physically she has always been rather weak, and since she was a filly she has been made fun of for this. Many times she has inconvenienced others from her own fear or inability, and often she has been insulted. Although Fluttershy's friends try to be understanding, they also inadvertently show their frustration with her. Fluttershy herself never seems to make much of these responses, though, and appears quite light-hearted. However, inside she cannot help but hurt when she is made to feel like a burden to everypony. How much longer must she live like this? Fluttershy decides to make the answer for herself.

Fluttershy's birthday is right around the corner, and Rainbow Dash wants to get her something extra-special, something to show her what a great friend she thinks she is...but has no idea what that something is. Can her friends give her any helpful insight, or will she be led back to square 1?...

Probably not my best, but an idea that's been sitting on my head for a while, just meant to be a harmless one-shot, close enough to the holiday season. =)

Twilight had always been a diligent researcher. She would routinely pour over every book she had at her disposal in preparation for every royal assignment. Except, sometimes books can only teach one so much. With this heretical idea in mind, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash decide to take it upon themselves to make sure Twilight keeps her wings clean, and doesn't embarrass herself in the sky.

When Rainbow Dash finds Fluttershy ill, she takes it upon herself to nurse her best friends back to health!

Fluttershy invites Twilight and Rainbow Dash to a peaceful day of fishing at a pond on Applejack's farm. But Rainbow gets too excited about the activity, and Fluttershy ends up on the wrong end of the hook.

When a ferocious blizzard brings winter to Ponyville, Rainbow Dash ends up stuck at Fluttershy's cottage for the night. Through some quality time together, though, and with the help of some insightful words, this unscheduled sleepover might just turn into the exact eye-opening experience that Rainbow Dash didn't know she needed.

The invasion on Canterlot has failed. Princess Celestia is unhurt, Shining Armor and Cadence have been married, and Equestria has been saved. Everypony rejoices in these facts, except for one: the Element of Kindness Bearer.
Not only does the invasion help bring to light Fluttershy's flaws to herself, but it also puts much darker and sullen thoughts into her head. Can she see past that and find the good within herself, or must she live forever with the knowledge of the burden of her timidness?
