The ponies of Nickerlite know little about Igneous Pie. He farms rocks, what else is there to know? What's more, he never once stands and fights for himself. It was apparent to everypony that he would never amount to much. Still, they might as well give him a try.

I designed this story to be a true slice of life, capturing a moment in the life of the Pie family. Also, they didn't have a tag for Igneous (he's really the main character in this story). I hope you enjoy, and comments are ever appreciated.

The very much unauthorized re-write of Jonny Bench's story called The Crippling Secret. I thought it would be fun to re-write it, but Jonny himself hasn't been on since half a year ago, so-

I did some reverse-image-searching, and I think the cover image comes from sjui00. Hopefully they don't mind my use.

Story was released 10/22/22, but I really, really rushed writing it. Usually, my stories take about five drafts before I'm happy with it. This one, I only did two then published it. On 10/24/22, I re-edited the story to flow better.

When a pony arrives in Ponyville and begins using the Stare to steal whatever he wants. It's up to Fluttershy to stop him. But Fluttershy promised never to use the Stare on another pony. But when an innocent life is at stake, Fluttershy may have no choice.

It was an ordinary bit. Like all the others, bearing the face of the new Sovereign. No longer the naïve young alicorn Capper once knew. Older. Wiser. Aware now, of just what kind of a place Klugetown was. Aware of what Capper almost did.

A fitting thing for Capper to contemplate while ruminating over his past. While wondering what is to come. He would find out soon enough.

Based on a couple of lines in and set in the past of Companion, though it is not a direct prequel.
