The Iguana Man

I am just a simple thinker, though some call me mad.

There are many words that can describe the equine force of nature that is Pinkie Pie: loud, fast, bouncy, hyperactive, wild, frenzied, fun...

These are, Rarity would freely admit, normally absolutely wonderful qualities for her friend to have. However, there are circumstances where even the most universally positive qualities are... not ideal. And, she would politely insist, there is at least one place in Ponyville that Pinkie's irrepressible exuberance should never intrude upon: the spa. Rarity would consider this a reasonable arrangement.

And yet, thanks to an ill-timed conversation and the dread spectre of social politeness, these two worlds of hers will soon collide when she is forced to invite Pinkie to spend some time with her in her haven of relaxation.

Will the Ponyville Spa survive? And even if it does, will Rarity's reputation there come out unscathed? Or will, by some miracle, Pinkie bring herself down to the realm of mortals and show Rarity more about herself than she ever could have guessed.

Note: the cover picture is entirely unrelated to the story, except in as much as it involved Pinkie and Rarity at the spa and it amused me.

While travelling down to Ponyville for Hearth's Warming, Thorax is asked to look into something weird happening at the Pie Rock Farm. One of the ponies living there has started acting very strangely and her family is worried she may have been replaced.

Can Thorax root out the cause of this disturbance? Can he resolve matters in time for Hearth's Warming? Can he survive an afternoon with the Pies?

If you have the answer to any of these questions, Thorax would appreciate you telling him, since he hasn't the slightest clue.

Set prior to the Season Six finale.

A Jinglemas present for Trick Question. I hope she, and every other reader, enjoys it.

This story is a sequel to Iota Force Issue #3: The Treachery of Images

A strange wave of burglaries sweeps over the farmers of Ponyville and Iota Force comes to investigate. However, when they learn that the thieves are not, in fact, ponies, it sends them down into the deep, labyrinthine sewers beneath Ponyville on the hunt for one in command of them.

Of course, in those dark, winding tunnels, there could be anything or anyone waiting for them, with far more knowledge of the area and far, far more friends down there. The young heroes had best tread carefully, or else they might learn just how mean the below-the-streets can be.

This is the fourth story in the Iota Force series. Reading the previous stories would be helpful and will help give some things context, but hopefully the story will stand on its own. However, just to be safe, a summary of the series' premise, characters and previous stories can be found here.

This story is a sequel to Iota Force Issue #2: A Hair Out of Place

When a massive line drawing is left painted in the middle of Ponyville, it's obviously meant to mean something to somepony, but what and to whom is not immediately apparent to most.

To Iota Force, however, it signals that an old foe is back, looking to make Ponyville the present playground for his plunderous pursuits. Their newest member, Icy Flight, is unaware of this history, but willing to do whatever it takes to thwart and capture this enemy.

So imagine her surprise when she discovers that the picture is not only a signal of this young mastermind's presence, but also a set of clues that, combined with a series of cryptic messages, explicitly hint as to his targets. Icy's never encountered that kind of threat before, but it seems simple enough.

Neither she nor the rest of the team should rest easy, though. Precocious and perfidious don't even begin to describe the colt known as Magic Eye, so they're going to have to put their all into solving his puzzles and pre-empting his heists.

They'll have to bring their best if they hope to riddle him this!

This is the third story in the Iota Force series. Reading the first two will help give some things context, but hopefully the story will stand on its own. However, just to be safe, a summary of the series' premise, characters and previous stories can be found here.

This story is a sequel to Iota Force Issue #1: Baptism by Fire

When Icy Flight met and joined Iota Force, Ponyville's resident child superhero team, found out her own abilities and helped fight off an invasion of Lava Ponies, she thought that was the weirdest thing she'd see that month.

She's still not used to Ponyvile yet, so we can forgive this very foolish assumption.

Now, Icy and Iota Force must draw on all the strength, wit and comic book knowledge they can summon as they face a foe who fades over the fringe between fact and fiction. Can they tangle with a true comic book villain without their careers being cut short?

This is the second story in the Iota Force series. Reading the first is recommended; however a summary of the series' premise, characters and previous stories can be found here.

AKA: The Prodigiously Powered Progeny of Ponyville.

When Icy Flight moved to Ponyville, she expected a few things - a pleasant town, friendly locals and, barring the odd apocalypse she wouldn't be involved in, a very quiet life.

She did not expect to meet a group of pre-pubescent superheroes sworn to protect the town from all foal felons, miniature monsters and knee-high ne'er-do-wells.

She did not expect to become involved in their battle against an incursion of lava-ponies.

She certainly didn't expect to join the fight and learn things she'd never even imagined herself doing.

Yeah, this is Equestria. She really should have known better.

After being asked a question she doesn't know the answer to, Luna asks Twilight to do her a favour and sparkle-date her. There are just two problems.

Firstly, Twilight has no idea what she's talking about.

Secondly, when she figures it out and obliges the request, the results are... interesting.

A... sequel...? Parody...? Bastardization...?

A story inspired by and in some way connected to Wintermist's brilliant Sparkle Date Me!, or at least the title.
