Someone has been leaving flowers in Twilight’s locker all week. Roses, marigolds, daffodils, Twilight is half expecting the town's florist to go bankrupt. Twilight can't stand high school romance, but everyone knows that love confessions are best saved for Fridays.

Home is strength, and safety, and love, and comfort. And Sunset wouldn't trade that for the world.

Twilight has been terrified of fireworks ever since a bottle rocket hit her when she was eight. The loud noises scare her and induce panic attacks, but when Sunset’s around she always has a way to calm her fears.

Cozy Glow is released from her stone prison. Now she has to start down the long road of reformation, even if in a way she’s already begun that process while in exile. But at least she has a companion that understands what she’s been through. She’s still got a lot of apologies to make though. 

Written for the Cozy Glow Short Story Contest Written for the prompt: They’d set her free. They’d told her she deserved another chance. She didn’t know what being reformed meant, though, in a world where the heroes crushed the wrong-doers with overwhelming force.

Sunset Shimmer is Canterlot High’s golden girl. A true prom queen type. But she has a secret. More accurately a secret lover.

Sunset and Twilight are star crossed lovers, separated by the bigots of their hometown and the rivalries of their schools. Their journey is a rough one, and neither of them know if it ends happy or not just yet.

In an AU in which Sunset ran off across seas after Anon-a-Miss with the Equestrian currency the Princess of Friendship had given her on her last visit and has adopted a british accent (because just imagine Sunset with a british accent) and in a world where Cinch never tried to blackmail Twilight and she never ended up at Canterlot High. They are both in their freshman year of college. Inspired by London Boy by Taylor Swift.

The human versions of Applejack and Coloratura met at Camp Friendship all those years ago, but unlike their pony conterparts, they remained in touch. Now years later Rara is making it big in Manhattan and has lost almost everything that made her Rara in the first place.
Essentially, Coloratura/Applejack romance as Rara navigates fame after she breaks away from Svengallop. Not exactly a mirror of what we saw in The Mane Attraction, but kind of similar.

Sunset tries to reason with herself. She does not have a crush on Twilight Sparkle. Turns out she does. But it's okay, because Twilight may be better at masking her feelings than Sunset originally thought.

"There's just so much I don't understand"
"No matter how much research I do the magic here just doesn't make sense. Everyone is looking for me to clarify... and I can't do anything."
"I'm so useless to all of you."

Sunset and Twilight talk, eat Chinese, and by the end maybe Twily can help Sunset get her mind straight.
