A few years had passed since Chrysalis broke free from her stone prison. After another failure—an embarrassingly quick one at that—she found herself faced with the unexpected: the prospect of being free.

But of course with most free things, there was a catch. The catch in this instance involving a certain lilac mare who happened to be one of her most hated mortal enemies, becoming a permanent supervisor of sorts.

A supervisor that wants to go out on those bothersome, time and energy wasting activities that they call: dates.

Oh, joy.

Discord is not typically known for having a plan b. After all, who needs one when you were as powerful as he? However, when he found out that a certain chaos inducing trio, who had freed him from his prison early, were sisters (well mostly) with the bearers of the elements of harmony, he saw an opportunity. With a plan that was already guaranteed to succeed, why not add a little more chaos to the mix? Couldn't be that hard to manipulate a small group of fillies, right? Right?

Takes place during the season 2 premiere. An alternative take on Discord's redemption.

Inspired by a certain comic involving Discord and the CMC.

Edit (10/20/2022): Lol, just leaving this here as part of an exhibit. Not going to remove it or change anything about it. Just going to leave this piece of history as is for those curious to compare my work from then to now.

First fiction I've done so far. God, I'm terrible at punctuation. Feel free to harshly criticize me on this terrible fiction. I just had to make a story, mainly because I would have possibly gone insane eventually...

To add onto all of this madness, I'm also terrible at title names, and chapter names. Who would have known? *cough*

And I know what you're all thinking, another Discord story that involves him being stuck as a statue, and then possibly being able to go free? And then possibly having a change of heart? Pfft, talk about being original!

To be honest, I agree with you, viewer. But, it'll be somewhat different...probably. At the very least, give the first chapter a chance.

Also, I'm not sure if I should keep the rating set on "Everyone."
