With shattered elements and hope, Twilight Sparkle is caught with an unknown ailment while she embarks on a quest to return the sun. The "hallucination" Discord has come to taunt her efforts, never resting and always close to her side. Friends enslaved, one Princess killed and the other banished, Twilight's search takes an unexpected turn as her mind ebbs away into darkness. Equestria's only light in the dark could be Discord saving the mare before she's corrupted for good. But as more information on Discord's history with the two sisters is revealed, questions arise about the credibility of her former leader Celestia and the intentions behind imprisoning Discord and Nightmare Moon, and what the true answer to saving her world could be.
Perfection came at a cost.

When Luna's teachings on entering dreams ends up revealing Fluttershy's crush on Twilight, Twilight had no idea how to respond; she even suspects the feelings are mutual. So when one thing leads to another and the two ponies find themselves alone, they decide to share a simple dance with one another.

Four alicorns to unite the races and protect the kingdom of Equestria. That's how the old legend goes. Years after its creation two sisters are born, one an alicorn and the other a unicorn. One became angry at the other's actions, and ended up sealing the fate for the two with a spell that had unforeseen consequences...

Years later when Celestia is a name all but forgotten to the flames of the sun, Luna is on a desperate hunt for any signs of her sister. Cadence and Flurry Heart have been born while Luna still believes Celestia is the fourth alicorn of the age old story, unbeknownst to her the dark secrets that lie with her sister's wings, and a very important mare hidden in the streets of Canterlot... But nobody's panicking. Right?

It quickly became clear to Nightmare Moon that she needs sunlight, whether she likes it or not. Rarity, on the other hoof, doesn't understand; if she's the good guy in her and her sister's age long feud, how come she- or anybody -would need such a dreadful thing?

Yet bringing it up to her leader was a mistake.

Twilight's head has been hurting ever since a fight she and Spike had. So when the pain of it all ends up forcing the two to finally confront this fight, it takes one moment between the two for them to both realize their mistakes.

Short story that I made to vent.

Princess Celestia isn't ready to swap with her counterpart. However, with Sunset gone and the weight of her actions only growing heavier, she knows she'll have to go through with her decisions sooner or later. Even if it means sacrificing her role as a Princess of Equestria, and her ability to ever go there again.

I'll make it, I keep telling myself. It'll all be good soon, with my new found friends and sunny life on the horizon. But then I have to ask, why did I just say I don't want to be good if If what I'm thinking is true? Are these lies really better than the truth?

Luna has been holding onto some items with memories attached to them, and it's time she got rid of them and moved on.
