To start, you should know that I'm currently working on an original fantasy novel, the first of three or four. On the side, I'll do MLP fics, and that's why I'm here.

So, writing. My favorite tag would probably be the Alternate Universe tag. My pieces may take a Dark or Sad turn, but I don't write gore. Or sex, for that matter. Or Romance.

Adventure or Slice of Life works for me. Depends on what I want the story to be about, though.

Shocker time: I don't like Sad stories.

I know, I know. I was just talking about the Sad stuff I write. But if a story makes me cry, I will A) commend the author for evoking emotion in me, or B) get annoyed because I don't like crying.

What I do like is Comedy. Lots of that, maybe because it's really hard for me to write it. Maybe a Dark story here and there, though it has to be a good one. Slice of Life is nice. And finally, Crossovers. A Crossover needs to be done right, and of course it's hard to read a Crossover if one-half of it is a story you don't know. But a well-done Crossover with something I like is lovely. I'll read it any day.
