TheRussianBrony

This is an account that a few very talented people will be using to entertain the brony community.

T

Derpy wants only the best for her daughter and everypony else. She goes to extreme measures to give it to her, but all ponies have a threshold of how much pain they can suffer before they snap.

Once again the artwork is to be attributed to Kirawolf590 on Deviantart. She did a great job with the bloody bathtub. Anyways, enjoy the story. :trollestia:

Welp im sad :raritydespair:

Then I believe we have done our job as authors, and artists! :trollestia:

2064181 Hooray! :pinkiehappy: I helped... or something

getting depressed from the descriptions hints alone. god damn is that depressing. :fluttercry:

Damn, I guess Derpy is your waifu. I know how you feel. Aside from the rest of TheRussianBrony, Celestia is my waifu. Whenever I hear a sad story about her I die a bit inside. Anyways, happy the story affected you. :trollestia:

I'm the same with celestia, no the whole premises is depressing. Its like when something horrible happens to trixie/diamond tiara /silver spoon it can be really depressing

I feel sorry for derpy
:raritycry:

Wow.. just wow.. I'm at a lost for words as I'm typeing this, I felt so bad for Ditzy and when I read the bathtub scean I was shocked,:fluttercry: but from such dark places I'm glad to see there was light in the end.

Yes, me as well. Matter a fact, after writing this story I kinda felt empty inside. :trollestia:

Awwww! At least shes alive!:applecry:c

Oh Celestia, you have NO idea how close I came to making this story diabolical. Originally Derpy dies, and Dinky is fostered by Twi. Also, Crafty Crate feels responsible and goes out on a revenge mission. Instead of beating up Paper Moon, he stalks him down to his apartment, ambushes him, and proceeds to burn his cutie marks off with a frying pan.
THANKFULLY, my friends and associates discouraged me from posting such psychosis. :trollestia:

Hahaha. I wish I could have taken a snapshot of my face when I was reading the original version. That Crafty was just hiding in Paper Moon's closet for hours like a psycho. :rainbowlaugh:

Actually he was hiding on his outside porch. :trollestia:

>> TheRussianBrony

Ah yes, that's right. Did paper moon end up dying in that one, or was he just tied to the couch?

Naw, the point of Crafty's punishment was that he lived his life without a cutiemark, inspired by Fallout: Equestria

I'm the only one who isn't sad?

A peculiar question. There is no specified setting unto which you portray that you could have not felt sad, and therefore anyone who reads that statement, who doesn't assume details, can speculate as to whether or not you are asking this within the context of the world, the nation, the brony community, the FimFic community, or this story. Also, it is not dictated whether or not you read the story before placing the comment, and therefore no real contribution to the non-existant discussion. Obviously you are not the only pony who doesn't feel sad, just look at the billionaires in the world, they sure as hell aren't sad, but yet again I am a hypocrite for just assuming that. It could very well be that you are the only one on this planet that isn't sad at the time your comment was written, there is almost no way to know. Some people go far to repress their true emotions, while others just pretend to be happy, but feel nothing inside. Not feeling sad about my story is ok, because I am still a developing writer and noticing my mistakes as I go. I'm sure there have been Mary Sue crimes that I have committed, as well as overall story movement. However, not feeling sad about a story doesn't disconnect you from emotion. If you are into gore, and get physical pleasure out of it, you could have been feeling erotic libido coursing through your deviant veins, at the same time, you could have derived a positive message from my story and decided to feel happy about it.
I would lick your feet if you could give me feedback so I can improve my writing, and produce more interesting and well written pieces. On that topic, if you did not feel sad, but liked the story nonetheless, go ahead and favorite and follow us.

I had to watch my pet cat get put down at three because I stepped on it and its hip broke. I'm certain your writing isn't the problem

2738676
Fuck dude. We have a similar tale between us then. I was given responsibility for my two cats, and it ended with them disappearing. I will never forgive myself for their loss.
Well clearly you are in the numb part of grief, so if you need to spill any more emotions, feel free to. It's the least I can do for a random pony.
:trollestia: (don't mind the trollestia, it's how I sign my posts)

Its a cat. I'm guessing you don't have 100 chickens, 23 cats, 17 dogs, 346 cows, 28 horses/ponies/waisthighadorablenesses, 7 goats, 2 camels, 11 llamas, or a parrot to pet on your farm. :ajsmug:

I'm twenty. I think I'm over it. :rainbowderp:

Well, I can see why this has the number of likes it does.

The good:

1. I could easily relate to the character Derpy in this story, her dilemmas, and the feelings she has for Dinky throughout. Well played!

2. There were a few places which were emotionally charged enough to get me invested and glued. I sometimes multi-task when reading and after a few events I stopped doing that.

3. I could detect a pretty obvious theme going on and, despite the story's somewhat depressing setting, it inverted it (so to speak) and made it overall quite optimistic. I enjoy that type of tension, plus I completely agreed with the theme.

4. Ending has hope, but not unrealistic amounts of it.

The bad:

1. The writing was, in places, noticeably awkward; not enough to detract from the experience and was consistent, but sometimes it took me a moment to understand what a passage meant due to the punctuation or the particular wording used, as well as VERY LONG paragraphs in a few spots.

2. Crafty Crate and Paper Moon are both believable characters, although Paper Moon is somewhat stereotypical in that he is definitely bad with no redeeming qualities. I don't know the name of those tropes, but I've seen them used. I'll admit I'm being a little picky here, but a little more character development would have helped define why they're doing what they're doing. Crafty Crate, naturally, is less like this, but has a touch of it... I was left with too many "whys" with some of his actions and reasoning, though he was drunk .

3. How is it indicated that Crafty Crate is viewed as a Sociopath to his peers? It's introduced with nothing to back it up.

4. How did Crafty Crate know what Paper Moon looks like?

5. How did Crafty Crate beating the tar out of Paper Moon impact the story? I was initially expecting him to become an interest for Derpy, but that didn't happen.

All in all, pretty good story. Liked and fav'd
