My name is Fire Song. I'm sure you've heard of me. My family are famed all over Ponyville. More like pitied, to be honest. 5 years ago, my sister and best friend, Moon Dance, vanished. Just like that. We searched high. We searched low. But we never found her. But I'm convinced she's out there, somewhere, waiting for someone to come and save her. And that someone's going to be me. Where ever you are, little sister, I will find you.
{Since I cannot write stories using characters I did not create, this story will feature my original character, Moon Dance, her sister Fire Song, Fire Song's friend Rainbleed and the girls' families. Later chapters will contain gore and some strong language, which is why it is rated Teen. }
I see you have experience. Liked the choice of words to describe things. And an interesting idea too. Mostly, because most of the fics I read are gory. After a LONG time, this is the first fic, where the beginning isn't gory.
I can't say anything about the grammar. English isn't my first language, so I write what I think it's right. And I am afraid to point out mistakes. Maybe one day it backfires me...

1986307 Thanks! I have no experience with MLP fanfiction, but I have written plenty of Pokemon fanfictions and original stories, so I do have a far bit of experience with writing. Thanks, I put a lot of thought into this story, and I'm glad to know my first pony story isn't a complete and utter failure like my first Pokemon story was. I've found a lot of stories have gorey beginnings too, so I wanted to try something different from what seems to be the norm for a lot of fanfictions. Don't worry about it - I know some people are afraid of correcting people, as I am too. The second chapter is already in writing, should be finished either today or tomorrow.
1989910 Actually, writing an MLP or a Pokemon fic is JUST NEARLY the same. You just have to change places and not write 'everyone' , but 'everypony'. (In my opinion at least...)
My first story nearly became a failure and back than, I thought I can't make whatever I wanted. Now I know, I just have to spend enough time, to write down something.
So do not think you can't make something. Everything is possible! The possibilities are endless!
With that, my job is done here. Though I will not continue reading this, just put it on my read later list. I have like 134 read later story and 38 story updates. So i have a LOT to do.
BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD STOPT! Seriously, continue!

1989928 Not when I write them it isn't. I've built up my own Pokemon universe over the time I've been writing about it and it's totally different from the world of Pokemon shown in the games. Created totally by accident, I tried my best to stick to the original, but it didn't quite work.
My first fanfiction was written about 4 years ago, and I was so proud of it. Looking back over it, i see it's pretty much the worst thing I have ever read, and I've read some pretty awful stories. It seems so easy, but it's really not.
There's probably some end to the possibilities... I'm just not smart enough to think of them all. I only have 17 on my read later and no story updates unread, but I only really started using this site properly yesterday. Good luck with getting through all that!
