This... may be good. I don't see what's supposed to be "Sad" or "AU" about it, though--for the former, the ponies (so far) have managed to over come their tortures, which is... "comparatively happy," and as for the latter, I've seen nothing (so far) contradicting canon, which is the crux of anything "AU."
Also, you make a lot of obvious spelling a grammar mistakes--nothing too bad: mostly missing letters or spaces, which are easy fixes.
