Twilight had secluded herself in the library for weeks, perfecting her latest project. Unfortunately, something went horribly wrong and when she opened her eyes, there was nothing. Now blind, will Twilight be able to cope with a new way of life? Will she put down the pen and end her story? Or will she continue on with her friends to the very end?
I was inspired one of the banner images (the one in question should be obvious) as I was browsing through the site and I wondered, "how would I react in a traumatic experience? Would I feel sad? Would I feel angry? Is it even possible to be able to physically express my feelings?"

Awesome, though it could use a little editing.
Like in some lines, you didn't mention who was talking. But the overall plot is pretty much amazing, even if it's a one-shot.
I have seen these kinds of stories done quite a bit and this one is quite short for what it's trying to address. The lost of sight is a major thing and a character simply won't get over it that quickly (even with Pinkie Pie singing in the background
) Length is this stories's bane. 
I agree with Monanniverse. It's far too short for such a life changing experience.
And I liked Pinkie's attitude through out most of it, but singing was too much for me to accept. If you change it I would personally like to see a scene where Pinkie comes to visit Twilight and cry's her guts out while Twi comforts her.
