I can't say too much without spoiling it, as all of that will be revealed as the story develops further on.
What I can say though about that though,
Is that it will be involving the OC former demon king Daemon, and a hidden layer to his ultimate plan
Daemon has a lot more planned than what he's saying
As for your final question, yes there there will be another crossover as it progresses
I promise, I mention the multiverse for a very good reason

I did notice how little DMC stuff were on here, and I do get it, DMC crossing over with MLP already sounds a bit strange by itself, but I was just so curious to see how it could possibly work.

And liked the little bit with Spike's interactinon with Vergil.

For the beginning of the arc of the story, he'll play more of a supporting character role
I wouldn't say Spike is considered a main character in this story
But as the story goes on, and develops more, we will definitely be seeing more of him that's for sure.
While he isn't the main focus of the plot (Since I have a whole storyboard list of things planned)
What I can say is, that for all my stories,
every character that appears, will always have something to do with the story
In the long run or short run.

So he's gonna end up sidelined/left out from what the Mane 6 get to do/see.
Oh..
Was hoping he's isn't stuck as a sidekick/only support that sits on the sidelines because he can't do what the "chosen ones"(Mane 6) can do.

No worries, I understand the concerns and doubt, especially if Spike is a favorite Character of yours.
I'm sure he gets sidelined a lot.
From what I've seen, such is the fate of some other characters in some stories, too.
Thus why I totally understand the doubt.
But as I said before he'll have his part to play in the story, even if it isn't right away.
Who knows, I may have more idea's for him as the story progresses.
I only have plot events up to 20 chapters noted down so far, and there's always room for improvement, and adjustment.
All I can really say, is stay tuned dear reader, and find out what happens.
Rest assured, I can say with confidence that Spike will not be forgotten about in the story, nor will Zecora.

I really like your story, but I have a few questions about the further development of your book:
1. Will there be any Vergil moments from DMC Visions of V?
2. You said something about the multiverse. Will Vergil be from the DMC reboot (2013)? Maybe some other crossover with Sonic, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Ball, Transformes, Mega Men. Although the latter may include more characters from the Capcom universe.
3.Will there be plot from IDW's MLP included in your story?
4.If there is a Mirror World saga, will the Vergil in this universe be Nelo Angelo or Corrupted Vergil?
5. Of course it's a strange question, but will Vergil have an internal demon called Hollow Vergil like in the reboot?
6. Will there be any techniques or weapons from DMC Peak of Combat (Even if it is DMC PoC 1.4) for Vergil (even if he has different clothes)?
7. Can you use fantasy ideas to develop a Vergili character? (in the first link about Vergil styles it is written in the commentary)

It’s okay, I myself plan to write a fanfic in the future with Human with Devilish Power from Devil May Cry in the world of My little pony. This is my inspiration from the fanfic Recursion Error. I'm afraid I can't answer all your questions at the moment because there are just so many.

Pretty cool on what Spike said to Vergil helped out a bit.
Not liking that Spike missed out on the fight with Daemon's "prototype" while all 6 girls got to check it out though..
Just adds to the issue of the Mane 6 gets to see/do stuff but Spike misses out badly
Hopefully the ponies will get out of their fear funk soon before it bits them hard.
Kind of wonder what other "prototypes" is Daemon making.

Respectfully, I can't speed up the plot just for Spike.
That would ruin the entire purpose of the story build-up.
Lots of plot progression, and world-building to do still, among other things.

Oooh, Celestia knew Sparda huh? Very interesting.
I am glad to see a new chapter.
It makes alot of sense for Fluttershy to be really affected and horrified by the abomination that Daemon made.
Kind of heartwarming her friends comforted her(sad Spike didn't get to, rubbing it in he's not part of their bond..)
And interesting how Vergil told the Mane 6 that moment from his past that happened in his childhood. That moment in time is what lead him down a path that defined him today.
Disappointed Spike misses out from hearing it, it was really a important thing to hear that the Mane 6 got to learn.
That Ten-Thousand Deaths punishment happened to Daemon is sure a terrifying fate, though can horribly backfire if even ONE of the fragments' fates gets adverted.
Seeing how it mentioned that Sparda gave the ponies anti-demon weapons, I am gonna guess the Mane 6 will get them(really hoping Spike isn't gonna get left out from getting cool stuff to fight too as equals)
I really did not expect this got changed to season 6 and what happened in the Dragon Lands.
And surprised that Smolder showed up. Wonder how she and Spike gonna meet and interact?
(In fact I.. well ship those 2, lol). Hoping its gonna be alot of interactions and such.
