An entry for the Pony Poetry Contest

Twilight Sparkle is the ruling Princess of Equestria, and has been for several moons now.
While her role is well worn, there's a pain her heart.
Immortality is a virtue, but time still takes its hurtful toll.
Seeking answers for sadness, she looks to the sky.
As years go by fast, like a shooting star, she finally tries to mend, all these old scars.
