Memories of being ostracized by Cozy Glow and the other pony students, and bullied by dragons back home for going to "pony school", haunt Smolder as horrific nightmares that cause her to nearly break. On a particular night, after being awoken by one such nightmare, Smolder flies into the Everfree Forest and accidentally wakes a roc. Can any creature save her? Help her love herself?

Hmm, this wasn't bad, but I think it rather drags things out. The narration just kind of ruminates on things way too long for my tastes, when the plot is ultimately pretty simple. I think the drama could've worked a little better if a few more things happened in place of a lot of the rumination.
