You know? Ever since this "universe" started, I've been wondering... What would've been Team Sonic's reaction if this happened in my saga?
I can imagine Sonic kind of relating to Zipp's concerns now that I revealed he almost killed Eggman after Longclaw died, but I can't tell with Knuckles.
As for Tails, I think he'll be as hurt as Pipp. I mean, beyond the fact that he likes her, I believe he would hate how much pressure Zipp is putting on herself because of an accident.
I also believe that, because of both Pipp and Tails feeling hurt, Sonic would have a grudge against Zipp, all because the actions she's making to "protect" her sister is not helping anyone, not even herself.

I would also say Tails would definitely be feeling a lot of guilt, especially considering his rudeness to her was about her suspicions of Misty. Imagine how the poor guy would feel realizing he was harsh to Zipp, effectively starting this whole angst arc because he not only impeded her suspiscions, but also allowed Misty into their lives that lead to the necklace incident.
Actually, I doubt you’ll need to imagine that.
As for what Sonic would do, that would either help the situation or earn him a punch from Knuckles for making things worse.
I love where this is going so far! So far, you’ve consistently shown the ability to mine some great and realistic character drama. I really feel for what Zipp is going through and it touches me, really. I sometimes struggle with the self-loathing she has and feel like I’m not good enough, so seeing that reflected here definitely means a lot to me. I really like how Sunny is the one to emphasize with Zipp here because she of all ponies would know about the grief that pegasus feels. Even though I know how this all ends with this being a midquel and all, the writing still feels so fresh and fills in a lot of in-between events that I’m glad you’re exploring.

You know what? I'm gonna make both a review and simultaneously a small "What if?" of every chapter in my Sonic universe just for the fun of it.
So, as a review to this chapter, I really liked it. We need more moments where Zipp and Haven connect in current canon, since almost everytime they interact is either to fight or for Zipp to be mad because her Mom has a life without her. I also like the fact that their friends respect Zipp's decision on being the one to tell Haven about all the shit she's going through despite not support it.
Now, as for a What if?, I think Tails would sometimes attend to the therapy sessions instead of Pipp because: 1- Pipp has a job to attend, and 2 - Tails wants to make sure Zipp's fine as well. I also believe that Sonic would be fine with Zipp now that she's not pushing Pipp away anymore, as long as she never does it again.
And finally, if you plan to make Zipp suffer more... Yeah, you are the "I love seeing Zipp break into tears for no reason" number one stand.

While I'm not a fan of this ship, I do think it was a really cute chapter. Also, THANK YOU, HITCH!!! I wanted to write Knuckles slapping those three bitches so badly when they did that to Sunny in "Ali-conned", but I didn't did so because "Rated E for Everyone".
Now, it is hard for me to imagine a What if? In this case... Maybe replace Hitch with Tails, but I think that once the Filly Four make Zipp cry, Tails wouldn't even ask what they did, he would straight up wake the Nine inside of him and slap the three of them with not mercy.
As for the end, I think Sonic would join Pipp and Haven on punishing the Filly Three because, even if they didn't did anything to Tails, he cares for Zipp as much as any of his friends, so he would be glad to be there and punish them. Also, this could be his revenge after what they did to Sunny.

Despite it being so short, it was still really wholesome.
There's, once again, not a lot to change in this chapter in the little "What if" I talked about. Just swap Hitch and Tails' places, as well as add some more context. I imagine Tails wouldn't want to leave Zipp alone at first, but she manages to convince him anyways, despite him still hating the idea.

It was a fantastic chapter, hands down my favorite.
I don't think it was as dark as you said it would, but it definitely was concerning how Zipp almost made something stupid.
Now, regarding this AU where the story takes place in my saga, I think that (again) Tails and Hitch will switch places, and Hitch would help Sunny and Izzy with Zipp's surprise along Sonic and Knuckles.
I also believe that Tails would suggest to join her on flying inside the Brighthouse occasionally, but would trust her to fly on her own once she goes outside entirely.
Also, I kind of believe that Tails would have nightmares of his own because, even if he's able to hide in on daylight, he can barely sleep because he's always worried for Zipp. I think that Sonic would eventually find out and, even if he does his best to calm him down, it wouldn't stop him from having nightmares, so Sonic eventually tells Zipp about this with the intention that she can talk with him about it.
How would the rest develop? I honestly hope you add to this idea, 'cause I honestly don't know.

I’d say you’d got everything for this chapter.
Most I would say is that Tails might be a little clingy with Zipp, but she would just take that as him being he bodyguard, before Sonic steps in.
Afterwards, they’d have a heart to heart and I’d imagine Tails would maybe be joining Zipp to Uaminifu’s more for his own sessions.
Aw, that was a cute way to end the chapter. It's nice to see that even when Zipp's struggling with Pure Obsessional OCD she still gets a bone thrown her way every now and then.

Well, this was surprising. I was actually wondering if Opaline was going to get involved somehow. Also, more Sunny having spotlight, thank you very much. You did more with Sunny in one chapter than Hasbro has done in two series.
The only heavy thing I could add to this chapter regarding my AU is Sonic opening up with Zipp. I mean, if you consider it, he's the fastest thing alive. He can stop time and run at max speed while everyone else is on their place. That means that he could kill someone at top speed, and nobody would even know what happened until it's too late.
He could open up and tell Zipp that despite these thoughts, he always reminds himself that he's better than that, which is why he never digs too deep on the thoughts. And considering that Sunny tells her to do the thing with the mirror, I think Sonic's advice would just compliment.

Now, regarding my AU? The only changes I can think of are changing Tails' and Hitch's places (again) and instead of Zipp pointing out the incidente with the lantern, I think Knuckles would be the one mentioning it, which would led to Sonic smacking him in the head.
Like another mystery solve I wonder what the next Adventure going to be. If I was Opaline I would send in misty to see if she could seduce hitch Trailblazer.
Nice to see Zipp finally starting to get back on her hooves.

Since this time I have so many things to say regarding my AU, I'll save it for private messages. But overall? This is your best work in general so far. I can see why it took you so long to get it out, and it was completely worth it!
They all made one big step together and there journey continues but the real question where is it going and where does it end
This was amazing! Intense but engaging all the way through.
It was good to see each of the ponies play a part in the battle in their own way. Hitch actually got pretty frightening after Misty confessed, so it was quite a relief when Zipp intervened. I also caught a few Ice Age and The Lion King references too.
I'm looking forward to what's next. I've been hoping for a deeper look into Pipp's side of all this.
