Creative minds also finish their creations - that's the issue here. You don't finish your work, thus potential readers get turned off as that stuff sadly plaques the site. Why stick to a story if you already know the ways of the author?
Point is: you abandon your stories after so few chapters to make new ones... and repeat the cycle.

I can understand and empathise with 'wandering butterfly' levels of focus, but yes, the sheer amount of content is a bit silly. As hard as it may seem, they need to focus on something. Or at least stick to one shots.
Flash dealing with a Zombie Apocalypse can be a fine 2-5k story.
