They say the dead can't speak. But, They never say it could walk
Flash woke up in a hospital to find the city is empty and soon finds evil hidden with in. How will he be able to survive the apocalypse that has happened and how would he deal with this new Evil that has taken over the world. Now he's gonna have to use his every skills and instincts to help him live and survive.....Just how will he do it in the world of the Infected.
A groan escaped from a voice. It belonged to a teen boy. He name was Flash Sentry. He had yellow skin and Blue hair that were a mess. He also had blue neon eyes that had the ocean colour. He got up slowly out of bed as he looked around. He found out that he wasn't in his room but a hospital room. He got up to see he was also wearing a hospital gown and also had a syringe in his hand that was connected to a drip as it was empty. The boy was confused at how he got hear? He took the syringe out of his hand and got out of bed quickly.
"What the heck happened?" He muttered to him self as he went towards the mirror. His leg were a bit Ozzy but he managed to get up. He reached and saw him self. He was sporting some bandages on his face and cheeks. It was like he went from an accedent."What the heck happened to me? How the hay did I get hear?"
He suddenly start to remember on how it went.
(Flash back) Flash just woke up from bed and got fresh up for breakfast. He went downstairs for breakfast but saw it was left on the table with a note. He picked it up and read it.
Dear Flash:
Sorry for leaving early, This morning I got a call to The Research centre for our project that we have been assigned to fallow. So I have to leave early and can't make it home for the night. You can order pizza or Chinese food for Lunch or Dinner. But I'll try to get home quickly as possible.

Flash smiled at this as he went for his breakfast. He grabbed it and went to the TV room to watch while he ate."Ok! Time for a little 'Hunter X Hunter' episode." He muttered happily as he on the Television.
As he was watching his show suddenly the news cuts in.= We interrupt this for an important Channel 8 news!=
"Ah, Dang it. Why now of all the time" He wined as he just listen to the news.
= For a past few weeks, There has been reporting of this new sickness that has been happening over Canterlot Town for about of a while. It is said that this new sickness is know as 'The Flesh Eating Virus', It has effected a bit of the people of the town as many have been send to the hospital for check up on there conditions.= This got Flash attention as he start to get serious. = Victims have suffered from. Body ich, Blood overflow, Heavy heat, Eye sight problem and Brain Pain. The doctor have been checking on the victims and are helping to find a cure. The public has been told to wear mask and wash your hands before you all go outside and avoid Tap water as it is told to be a bit contagious. Any sign of this symptoms you get. Please go to the nearest doctor for check up. That's all there is to say.= The broadcast ended as it went back to the channel.
Flash had a bit of questionable look as he thought about this. What the heck is that sickness that there talking about? He doesn't have a single clue.'Ok, I can say for sure that this may not be the work of any magic that has been going along lately this past few days. So it's either a sickness of a lab experiment or something else. But I'll think about that later. Gotta get to school first.'
He finished his breakfast quickly as he looked at the time to see his almost late. Gotta be quick if he wants Twilight help in this.
Flash drove through the streets in his car as he went through the signals. He was in a hurry but he also needed to be a bit safe. While he was doing so he start to receive intel on his phone. While he knew it's wrong to text while driving but technically it's reading so.. it doesn't count in his book. He opened the Canterlot high blog news page to see what's up.
He suspected it to be the girls bravery again on how they save the day from another magic incident like always. Man the girls can do a lot of things with these powers of theres as there popularity got even more high cause of there singing career. As he checked the news, it wasn't what he aspected it to be. Instead it was of today news broadcast.
"DUDE! I heard this sickness happened to one of my neighbour next door. That guy became freaking nuts back there. We had to call in a ambulance for him."
"It happened to my aunt a while back. Her eyes were lifeless and we're becoming blood red more then this."
"My dog got sick aswell. My parents thought he was just getting a stomach ick but last night he start to spasm around and went out of the house. I didn't see him come back yet."
"I don't feel to good. My skin burns a lot and I'm feeling a lot of pain."
"What does this sickness even do, it doesn't look that bad other then just giving a itchy skin and fever. It doesn't look life threatening or anything."
"Try saying that to someone who hasn't gotten sick from it! 😡"
The more he read that the more he got interested in this. This disease, What is it? Just then his phone rang showing a call from Micro. He answered it while his eyes were on the road.
"Hey Buddy, what's up?"
= Hey Flash, Just calling in for checking on you on why your getting late.=
"I'm fine, What's got you so worked up. I'm on my way there now." Flash assured his friend as he took a turn.
= I'm just asking since the broadcast from this morning. That sickness got me a bit on the eage lately and I'm just worried. My Mom also caught this flue and is in the hospital for a few days. Its not good but the doctors are working on the cure.=
"I'm fine, Also don't worry about it she'll be ok just believe in it. Its probably just gonna last long for a month or two then go away. If it's that serious then maybe Twilight could help in fixing it." Flash told as he knew the girl could be smarter then one could tell but he had a bit of doubt fir her skills as it caused a lot of problems for them.
=I don't think there magic could cure people.. yet I think. If they did then that would have been helpful in so many ways for everyone.= Micro said at the other Line.= But, That aside. What about the report you were given to do. You know today's the final day to submit it.=
"Its with me ok. And no worries, I have it with me ok." Flash told his friend as he stopped his car on a red light,"where are you right now anyway?"
= I'm at the school gate and sandalwood is with me aswell. Hear I give him the phone.= Micro handed the phone to his friend as Flash waited for the signal to go green.
= Hey bro, Hows it hanging?= Sandalwood asked= Heard the talk of yours and glade your not infected with the Flue.=
"Yeah, I'm alright." Flash said as he saw the signal from red to green."So, I'm gonna reach in school in no time. We could talk abo-!"
*CRASH*
Flash didn't finish as a car came in our of the blue and crashed with his when he took a turn as it went twirling back and hit the other side of the street. It took a minute to see what happened as the people around then quickly acted and went towards Flash car and the other. Inside Flash was injured as his head was sporting a wound and some broken window parts were on his face.
=Flash?.. Hey Flash what's wrong buddy? FLASH ANSWER US! HEY FLASH! FLASH!= Sandalwood yelled from the other line.
Flash soon lost consciousness as he could barely see on what's happening. He was able to see some people yelling for help for him. He looked towards the side to see some helping the other driver our of the his car. But there he saw the driver swerving a bit as he was pulled out. Soon he lost consciousness as he saw darkness.

Now he remembers it all. The accident and the hit he took. That was all coming back to him right now. He then went out of the room to find a nurse to help him. But as soon as he did he was meet with an empty hall.
This now got him confused as he see the hall was a bit of a mess and thibgs were scattered around the floor and places. He stepped foot out side the room and slowly went through the halls to find anyone. He checked to see the other rooms but they were all abandoned and we're also in a mess. He walked pass the some fallen wheelchairs and some fallen pay phone. He was now in deep confusion and was a bit on guard. Where is everyone? The hospital should be full right now. Why is it empty and is like a horror movie scene.
He went towards a large window to see the town out side. But he was soon shocked to find that the hole town is empty and was deserted. The streets were all quiet and there was no sign of anyone there. Finally Flash get to his voice to speak one sentence on seeing all this.
"What the hay happened hear?!" He muttered in serious and confused toon.
Flash slowly walked through the streets as he looked around the empty cars and stores as they were all broken down and were also burned, it was like some worth of raid happened hear. He was still in his hospital gown as he couldn't find his clothes so he had to improvise. Seeing no one hear he was starting to get scared. It was like the life around hear just vanished leaving him behind. But why are all the place broken down like there was a fight.
He accidentally stepped on something as he looked to see that it was a can. It was happened to have a weird symbol of some sort of umbrella with red and white colour. He didn't know what it was so he continued forward. While he walked through he didn't see the news paper on the ground If he did, He would have turned back right now. The head line written 'THE DEAD CAN WALK' . He then soon reached a crashed police car as it's radio was still working. Luckily he knew how to operate it.
"H-Hello, Is anyone there. I repeat is anyone there." He asked hoping for a reply but sadly there wasn't. He signed as he let go and continue on his way.
'How long was I out?! I mean, I got caught in an accedent of some sort and soon wole up in a hospital with no one there to see me or anything. Now next thing I knew is that the place is deserted and the things around hear a broken as if some riot happened or something.' He mentally stated as he try to process this.'Calm down sentry. You just need to find out where the others are. Its not that hard to do so. So I just need to look harder that's what.' He said trying to calm him self.' Maybe I'll check out my house or Micros house for any clues. Hopefully he and the others are ok.'
He then went on his way to his destination, But just then he heard something. He stopped in his tracks to look on what that was and soon saw a person. He finally breath in a sign of relief to see someone else. He went towards him quickly to see the guy and ask for anything but stopped as he felt something was not right.... Something was off about this man. And not in any good way or anything. No this was something dangerous.
He slowly walked towards the man as he saw him kneeling down on the ground as his face was on another body. Flash was getting killed vibes from this person as the more he came closer to him.
"Um... Sir?" He asked trying to get his attention but the 'person' didn't answer."Excuse me. Can you help me sir?" But again nothing. Now Flash was getting a bit angry as this 'man' was ignoring him.
"Hey there! I'm taking to you! Can you tell me!" Flash stopped in his question when he saw what this man was doing.
The person lying down was a dead body of someone as the 'man' kneeling down Infront of him was Eating the others corps. Flash took a second to see the scene and got back in shock as the 'man' stopped in its feast and turned its head around slowly towards the teen. Flash finally saw its face and soon wished he didn't. Its face was all raw and old as it's skin was all expired type as it's jaws were missing skin on them and the teeth were scene through this. Finally it's eyes were reveal to be lifeless as it didn't have any life in them. It looked at him hungrily as a new pack of meat. Now Flash finally knew what was Infront of him. He scene many movies to know what this is a....Zombie!
Flash didn't know what was happening, But he didn't have time to think before the Zombie pounced at him. He quickly doged it but it continues it assault as it wanted a bite out of him. Flash ran back as the Zombie fallow him, It was slow but was still able to keep up. Flash was running fast as he could away from the Flesh eater as he could. He quickly saw a destroyed flower shop and hid behind the counter. The Zombie ran forward as it didn't know where he was. After it was gone Flash pulled his head out to look to see of the cost was clear.
The teen boy breath in heavily in and out to calm his beating heart down.'O-Ok, What the fuck is this... I go in to a coma for.. how long, I don't know. And when i woke up the world is in a Zombie Apocalypse now?!' He mentally shouted as he got up to see the cost was clear."Ok calm down... Calm down. I seen enough zombie movies to know that they always come in a hord so it would be wise to stay out of sight." Flash said as he slowly start to walk away.
He hid behind the cars so the other zombie can't see him and stayed out of sight. He walked further to find the stores all burned and broken down. He saw a bit of clothes and looked to see his attire and thought to change them so he could ease up. He took a red shirt and black jean pants and a black leather jacket from one store and changed out of his robe. After getting a bit of new clothes he then changed in to new shoes which will not cause more sound. When he was done he now needed to find a weapon of choice to combat against these Flesh eaters.
"The main weakness to the zombies are the brain area where one part of it control the Zombie mind. So it is to take out the head then." He thought about it."But what weapon is best so I won't alert other zombies in to this." He muttered to him self.
He carefully got passed some blocks and saw some undead roaming around the streets. Flash looked to see there faces were quite different then a normal zombie as the mass around them was quite old and rotten but it was still looking fresh.'These must be some new type of zombies then. The one I know aren't this much bloody. But then again I don't know fully on them just by playing video games.' He saw a road open and no zombies were in sight so it gave him a chance as he sneeked in the other part of the streets. As he was going by his eyes landed on a house on the side as there he saw someone. He thought his eyes were playing tricks or not but he could have sworn that the one on the window was another person.
So he took his chance and went towards the house. He saw the door of the house locked. Someone must have barricaded it from inside then. Meaning there was someone inside of the house, So Flash quickly went to the window to see if it was unlocked or not. Just his luck it wasn't as he slid inside and closed it shut. Finally after getting in he looks to see if anyone is around or not.
Not making any noise is needed cause he doesn't fully know who is in the house. So he quietly snuck to the rooms to check for anyone or anything helpful. He walked passed many rooms and finally reached the dining room to see the place is a bit of mess but he's eyes catches the interior of the furniture and the room. The table and the chairs were all seated well and there was less dust.'The furniture and the supplies around the palace is cleaned and not any messed up. There also no dust to be seen on them, which means that someone is hear then. And hopefully alive.'
Just then his eyes landed on a book near the table. He went towards it and checked to see and found out it was a diary of some sort. He read to find any details on what happened.

The day began like any other day I live in. The morning sun getting up and the neighbours fighting could be heard around the corner. Dam to think if anyone was really making them fight for amusement or not. So I got to my usual routine and worked out then went to drop my son at his school. After the day I went towards my job to see if any crooks were out today or not. Gotta keep the street in peace as it's a duty.
Flash read to find he must have been a police man or someone else to potrol the street then. He quickly flipped the pages to get more answers.
July 23, 2018.
Something happened today on the morning. When I woke up and saw the news this morning, I was surprised to find out that it's about this strange disease that has been spreading in the town this past couple of days. I usually just ignore this type of behaviour and just went on to my duty but today was different. When I was out for patrol, I was called out to find a man in robbing a convenient store at the middle of the night. I managed to get the purp but something wasn't right on that young lad. He was trashing around a bit and his body was a bit warm. The eyes of his were like, Like he was in a Brick of Death. I got him to the hospital to see if anything was wrong with him. The doctors told me it was just the disease that has been spreading this past fue days. They said they'll cure him and I accepted it no less.
Flash read that and his mind start to make two and two together. It wasn't hard to figure it out that the sickness was the cause of this. Meaning the Flesh eating sickness was this one all along and the doctor, as the person described back may have know about this. He then search for the lasted post unaware of a figure coming from behind.
*CLICK*
He had heard the sound of a gun click as he immediately spun around to see a man older then him with comed hair down and had fair skin rather then any colour one like him and teg others. He also wore the standard police uniform with the vest and the weapon belt.
Flash dropped the dairy and immediately held his hands up in the air in panic."Wow! Wow! Wow! Easy there, I'm human not a zombie!" He said in fright but kept his voice down as he didn't wanted to alert the other Zombies. He knows well with seeing the walking dead and knows to well not to shout.
The man still had his gun pointed at him as he eyed him in suspicious. He wasn't gonna let his guard down. Finally he spoke"Were you bitten?"
"What? Oh you mean getting bitten or scratched by the Zombies then no."Flash quickly told as he made sure he wasn't bitten.
"You sure. Cause if you turn out like the ones out side. I want hesitate to put a bullet through your skull." The man told in serious toon. Flash nodded."I'm sure I wasn't bitten. I checked fully on any scars or bite marks."
The man finally pulled his gun back as he relaxed at seeing the kid was ok. He knew that the infection of the virus was fast as it can speed up the turning process in one bite or scratch mark."Good thing your not. You scared me back there."
"Yeah, I'm not the one who was pointing a gun at me or anything."Flash clarified at that as he pulled his hands down."But, what's out side now. It's better to keep our eyes and guard up for anything."
"Yeah sorry for earlier back there kid. When I saw you were out side hiding from the infected. I had to be sure that you weren't one aswell. Guess it was true then." The man said."Any way, I didn't get your name. It would be wise to introduce our selfs to be at ease."
"Right, Names Flash Sentry."
"Leon Kennedy."
Flash and Leon were now sitting at the table area. Leon had gave the kid some water from the bottle as he didn't wanted to get the kid affected by the virus as he didn't know if it was spreading through the water plant or not. But he had to be safe as there were many affected and who knows if one of them were to be at the water plant. The teen boy chucked the water bottle down as he was mighty thirsty and Leon can tell that the boy was a bit pale as he hadn't eaten anything for a while or so.
"So, Felling a bit better now." Leon asked in a bit of kind toon. Flash nodded as he got his throat good again."Yeah, Didn't get to drink water when I woke up. Any time else I would have fainted from exhaustion or dehydration."
"Well it's a good thing that I found you then. Or you found me. But it's all the same." Leon said as he then try to asked the teen."So Flash, Mind telling me how you survived the outbreak."
".... Well, I just woke up from a coma as I could remember." Flash said to him making Leon surprised a bit." I was on my way to school. While I was there I got a call from my friends asking about where I was. I told them that I was on my way. And the next thing I knew. A car came and crashed with mine.... I thought the driver may be drunk or I wasn't paying attention on where I was going. But the next that happened was me waking up on the hospital bed and finding my self in a zombie apocalypse. Like in walking dead series or so. It's pure luck I survived as I didn't know what to happen."
"Well, I say it was good luck you survived or the infected would have eaten you there and then." Leon told making Flash a bit more in the edge."But, Your ok so no worries."
"Yeah, You can say that again." Flash muttered."So, I told you about my story. Now can you tell me about yours. Like,You know anything about what happened?"
"...." Leon looked down on the table as he didn't know to answer. Flash thought he may have made a mistake but Leon signed and spoke."Honestly, I'm as confused as you are. I'm just a rookie cop who was transferred from Raccoon city. Had graduated from police school early and was told I'll be transferring hear. Heard a lot about this place and it's.. colour ful people." He said the last part I'm a bit of confusion making Flash give him a look of confusion."Well, On where I came from. There are only white and black skin people and some are brown. When I came hear I thought the people were either albino or something else. Um no offense."
"Some taken." Flash muttered."Were not sure aswell on why our skin is like this and hair colours but we're ok. Your not a racist type are you?" Flash asked the man.
"No, No, God no, I'm not like some people who can't see that, Different skin colour doesn't mean they are different from being human." Leon raised his hands in defence as he told him. Honestly, he hated those kind of people who were racist and such."I'm just surprised that there are different colours type people hear. And different weird names, But I don't hate them ok."
"Yeah, Ok I can agree. But anyway you were continuing." Flash said making the cop continue his tail.
"Oh right. Well when I came hear I was assigned with a partner name Shining Armor. He and I were assigned to go on and investigate a incident in the hoofstreet down town. We both went in for checking to see if any disturbance or so. And guess what, We found it with a bunch of infected coming after us for our very flesh." Leon explained to him on what he knew.
"Infected? You mean your naming them like the Walkers in Walking Dead." He asked.
"Yeah, See Zombies are corpse of a human when he's dead or so. And the mind and heart don't work. He becomes a waking corpse or such. But infected are quite different, When one is bitten by them. The infection works father then any other and goes to the brain in quick time like 1 to 2 min. Once it's there the human is dead as the virus takes over the mind and it's only gaol is to go out for flesh." Leon explained. " I know this as I seen it happen right Infront of my very own eyes and I tell you. It's not pretty to see."
Flash can see the look in his eyes that of haunting. He can clearly see that he wasn't ready for this but he kept it up and put a mask to show he isn't afraid." What happened then? What about your partner and the other citizens?"
"... Shining Armor was able to get away. Me and him were separated and I had to run on out to a safe location. He had his walkie talkie with him so I was able to know on where he was going." Leon told as he pulled out his communicator. But it was only seeing static sounds."He told me a while back that he was saved by another person as he was somehow gotten to a plane. He told me not to worry as he and the other person were actually going to investigate the outbreak that happened. He took me to get to the CCPD police station and get to the shelter. I couldn't go cause of the infected were to much and had to go into a hidding spot till I find a way out of hear, so I can go to the police station."
"But what about the other citizens. Were some able to get away."Flash said hoping that his friends were ok or not. He knew he Rainbooms were able to atleast handle the Zo- infected as they had power to back it up. But he still was worried as on what Leon told the infection can spread fast so it will be way dangerous.
"Last I heard was that some were able to go to the police station for shelter and such. Then it's all hell as the infected roam the streets and all." Leon said as he got up and went towards the shit window to open the curtain a bit to peek and see the infected were still roaming around.
"So what's the plan then." Leon looked at the kid."What are we gonna do now. We can't stay hear forever or so. We don't have the supplies or groceries to get us through a day or such. And we clearly can't be hidden from those infected forever. In movies I seen that zombies adapt to the things around them. And the infected are no different then. If they learn to adapt around the environment and such they'll be breaking in hear any minute then. So what's it gonna be then?"
Leon looked at the kid deduction as he can see the logic behind this. He's right, They didn't have any food or more weapons as they only have a bit of less ones as leon managed to get. And food was out of the question. So far. The only place they can go to is the police station as there they can get the supplies need d for them to get set."Good Deduction there Flash, Yeah your right. We don't have much supplies hear or so. I only have about of weapons as some I managed to get from the car and some were hear in this house of the previous owner. But those wont be enough as it may need more then just simple guns and so. So we gotta go to the one place here we can get the supplies needed."
"The CCPD police station." Flash finish his thoughts."But there's two problems. One are the infected outside and the other is the way to avoid them. Got anything?" Leon asked the boy.
Flash though about it and then went to the window to see if there were any way off this place. He could see the dozen of infected roaming around the streets as they were looking for Flesh to feast on. If they need to escape there eyes and without any worry then they had to think above for this. Wait? That's it!"Hey Leon. Ever done parkour before." He suddenly asked as Leon looked at him in confusion.
"So were really gonna do this then." Leon asked as he stood near the kitchen and looked at the teen in question who was making verious weapons out of the kitchen tool.
"Yeah, If we use the roof tops, Well be out of the undead under there without even notice. I know the streets and places as the back of my hand. I can easily guide us to the shops near hear so we could get more supplies and get ready." Flash told as he duck taped the kitchen knife and the Fork at the broom stick end.
"I'm not doubting you or anything. I'm just a bit cautious that ones if we get to a local weapon store or other house. We gotta need more then just simple house tools to hit the infected with. They get up and come more fast." Leon stated.
"So you have anything else to help. You got weapons and but I don't." The teen suggested. Leon looked at him the asked."You ever used a gun before?"
"Honestly, Yeah I have." Flash told surprising him a bit but he kept Natural look."My dad thought me the basic of using police weapons and kniefs. Growing up, I wanted to be a police man like my dad. You know up hold the law and protect the citizens from bad guys. So he thought me the skills on how to use the tools and thought me to fight. He took me to the local police gym and the chief there thought me the basics."
Leon couldn't help but smirk."Looks like you and I are the same then. My old man thought me the things needed to become a cop. Just like you, I was thought well. So it's makes my work a bit easy." He said as he took out a gun and through it at Flash as he caught it. Flash inspected it to find it was hand made type as it was small hand gun with black colour and had a torch under the shelt."My Old man made that. He made two actually, One was for me to use as it was made to only be used by me. The other was a hand me down incase I ever lost or got the previous one destroyed. Looks like you can use it as it isn't DNA locked."
Flash marveled the gun with pure interest and shock. He never got a gun like this and it was pure well crafted."If were gonna survive then we need everything we got. I only have less bullets in it and have some but there won't be more if we can't find something to reload it." Leon told as he tossed a small pack of bullets towards him as Flash caught them.
"Well then, I know just the place then. Since were in this street. It's closest to my home. There we can get some reload then." Flash said as he packed the pack and loaded the gun."But we gotta be on stealth fully to avoid this. So first thing is to rest a bit. If we want to go. We gotta be fully rested and ready."
"True that. So then I can keep a little night guarding hear. You can take a nap then and get ready."
"No need actually. Been in a coma for how long, I don't remember. But I'm fully rested and ready. You can go to take a nap. I can keep on guard." Leon wanted to argue but he knew the kid was right. So he nodded and went off."Oh yeah, Just a heads up. Keep the lights off at all cost. The infected will know if they see this."
"Got it." Flash nodded.
In another part of town at a school which was know as Canterlot High is now abandoned and broken down a bit. There was no life there what so ever. Except for the blood and carnage did inside the school ground. There was blood on the walls and the floor and the classrooms were all broken down and so was the cafeteria. Up on the school roof there was a barcade there as to block the things which were outside from coming up there.
"Any sign of life out there." A voice asked reveals to be of Sandalwood. He wore a black robe over his shoulder as the he had a rifle hanging from his back. He also wore fingerless gloves and dark combat boots.
"Non again. Just those undead out there roaming." Micro chip spoke up as he was looking through a pair of night vision binoculars."There haven't been any sign of other life nor the Girls. It's been 6 weeks since they abandoned us."
"Not abandoned" Another voice spoke as it was of a female. She has mint blue skin and short purple hair and wore the crystal prep uniform."You know they never do that right. They had to go to see what caused the out break remember."
"But we haven't hurd from them. Not even once. I think they went out with the others and forgot about us, The students and even, Even her." Micro spoke the last part with sorrow."They could have prevented this from happening."
"Not everyone knew that a zombie out break was gonna take place hear. You know that do you." Sunny Flare reminded."We were lucky to even survive that time when we were in the hospital."
"Ca-Can we not talk about that please." Sandalwood quickly stopped her. She knew she may have crossed a boundary."What we need to do is get the remaining supplies in the school. Were running out of them soon and we can't stay hear forever."
"What do you think we should do, Go out again and lose one of ours again!" Sunny Flare glared back."You know we coul-"
*Static*"Hello! Hello is anyone there!" The voice coming from the radio got the three attention. Both teen boys couldn't believe it as they recognise the voice."Hello is anyone there. Do you copy."
Micro quickly went and picked up the device on the box and quickly answered."Yes we copy."
"... Micro?"
The two teens eyes widen at that."F-Flash... Is that you bro." He asked in weak toon. Hoping it wasn't a lie or anything.
"Micro it's me buddy. Glade your voice is the one I'm hearing."
Sandalwood quickly went to him and took the Walke talke and quickly asked."Bro! How are you alive?! Were are you? Are you ok? Wee you bitten or anything?!" He asked verious questions from his coma friend.
"Wow easy there Sandalwood, Yeah I'm alright. I'm in a house right now taking cover. As you can see there isn't much to go outside. Where are you?"
"Me, Micro and another surviver are at the school roof top. We managed to survive the outbreak in time. But, We lost a handful of our friends back there." Sandalwood had sawrrow in his voice as he can still remember the screams and the please for help.
".... I figured, But hold on there a bit. Listen I meet another person who can help me get you guys. Which school are you at right now?"
"CHS."
"Good then. So how many of the infected are out there?"
Infected, Huh, Ring a nice bell,"There seems to be about 20 or 30 of these things in school and outside. We don't have much supplies left and have less amo power. We be running out of this in about 2 days if rescue doesn't come in soon."
"We'll hang on, This hopefully will give me and Leon enough time to get to you guys and rescue you."
"That's the problem buddy. You won't be enough of getting us out. You gotta save your self or youl-"
"Let me stop you there." Flash cut it."You three are the only surviving members left and I'm not some one to leave you behind or such. If you three hang on we'll get you out of there. I'm not leaving you or anyone behind like this! So just wait and well come prepared to get you."
".... Fine, But you better be safe bro. We don't wanna lose you again." Sandalwood said.
"Will do." The radio then cut off.
"You really think he'll come to get us?" Sunny Flare doubted a bit as she can't fully have belief with all those Infected outside."If we both know Flash. He'll always come to the aid. No matter what." Micro told with confidence in his voice without any doubt.
"Let's hope your right then. Cause I don't wanna die hear or be eaten by those things outside." She told.
"Things got a bit complicated, But nothing to that can't be handled." Flash muttered
"You sure?" Flash spun around to see Leon standing behind him near the door."Heard your talk. Friends of yours out there?"
"Yeah, Glade they survived, But we gotta hurry to get to them now. They told me there at the school roof."
"I heard. But do you even know if we can get there without more fire power. There are hundreds of those infected out there. We don't have the strategy to get out fully and we have to get to the police station to get aid." Leon stated as they were in need of help.
"The police station can wait actually. I have something back home that can help us in getting my friends. I also know a local gun shop hear hear that sells. Since the outbreak had happened. Then the store may be open for us." Flash told the cop who thought about it.
"But you really go out to rescue your friends then. In the middle of a zombie apocalypse."
"Yes." He quickly diad without hesitation in his voice. Leon smile at the kids determination."Well, Hope you know what your doing then. We'll leave immediately then. I'm rested fully so we can leave." Flash nodded then'Just hang on a bit more guys. I'll promise I'll be there to help you.'
Meanwhile in another part of the town inside a building were dead bodies. Eaten and digested, As there was more carnage on the floor and the place as he sounds of crunches could be heard. Then suddenly a claw hand came in and grabbed a bear body and pulled it towards it. Soon sounds of flesh ripping was heard through the halls.
It was a rainy day start, A police car was being drive through the streets as the two cops were on there night potrol.
On the driver seat was a man with White skin and blue dark hair. He wore a standard police detective uniform as he was driving the car. On his side was the rookie new cop Leon. Both sat on there seats as pure silence was in the car. Utile Leon was the one to break it."So... Been a cop for how long?" He asked trying to start a conversation.
"For about Three years." Shining Armor answered."Had to go from scraps to get this far. You won't believe how much the other lieutenants can be a bit of bitchy on the new rookie."
"Yeah, Been there before, But had to get along with them. You know the standard stuff that the Chief gives on." Leon said as they started to chat."So Leon. Heard you were transferred from Raccoon city. That place is kinda of small to be precise."
"Oh, It's a small City place. People usually come from different places to get a tour around town. It's located near East San Francisco. Kinda of a roomy place to have a nice vacation to go to with your family or friends." Leon said as he looked out side the window.
"Good to know. My wife's been dying to go to that place, like forever." Shining told making Leon look at him."Oh your married then."
"Yeah, She used to be my sister baby sitter. Back then I had a crush on her but couldn't have the nerves to ask her out. It was torture to look at her without feeling your gonna pass out." Leon chuckled a bit."Then my sister helped me in getting the confidence boost I needed to finally ask her out. That was the most amazing day of my life, And one thing let to another and now she's my wife and I'm a loving husband."
"Congratulations Mr Armor."
"Please, Call me Shining, Mr shows that I'm old. But I'm in my late teen years." He chuckled.
"Then you can call me Leon then." He told
"Sure thing. So Leon, I read your file back there at the police station. I got to say that your a honest boy to be precise. Your training record shows that you Aced every test and aswell as the written test. Not to mention that your an expert in hand to hand. How did you learn that so fast?"
"My old man thought me this when I was young." Leon said as he laid back."When I was young. He taught me about the basic of the law and hammered that moral of ideal in my head. He trained me in the police squad and helped in my physical practice. When It was my 17 birthday, He got me my own gun as a present. Made it him self." Shining Armour looked at him in question gaze."Yeah, He made that him self. It was a Desert Eagle Magnum as he gave it to me... I was over my world at that."
Shining Armour smirked at that."While I be, Didn't know your old man was a thinker. My old man works in the Canterlot Research Center. They make a lot of cool gadgets there. I mostly-"
" Dispatch, Any Available police car near Hoof street. Go to the near Gas station. There's been a break in and entry."
"This is Detective Armor hear. In near the station right about now. I go check it out. Be on guard if for back up." Shining answers.
"Roger that."
"Looks like were busting in on a break in and entry then." Leon said."let's go then." He turned the car around to head to the near destination.
"So, How much longer till we get there." Leon asked the teen boy. Both had them went in to action as they went on the roof and jumped on to the different roof spots to get to the destination.
"Just a few more rounds to go. Once where there we gotta lay low and go in the shadows. I just have a feeling those infected are roaming in that place." Flash told as he used the pole to jump on the longer roof spots. He carefully had to go to not alert any of the Infected below as he parkour his way on to the different balcony.
"The Down Area is filled with them a whole lot and what makes you think that the place where going even have the things we need to go and rescue your friends." Leon question as he was keeping the pace with him.
"I'm not in full shore as my self. I didn't imagine my self in middle of a Zombie outbreak as I just gotten out of the hospital." He said as he landed on the final roof of a building as it was the only roof left as the next area was quite far."There's also the fact that I didn't have paid attention on the warning that were being given out. They littlery were saying it's the end of the world."
Leon landed on the roof with a thud and scanned the area. “So far no infected have been sighted on the upper deck. Which gives us some time to relax and come up with a plan,” he said.
Flash Sentry nodded and checked his ammo. He had only a few bullets left. He hoped they would find some more in the lab. He looked at Leon and saw that he was calm and confident. He wondered how he could be so composed in such a dangerous situation.
Suddenly, the door of the roof burst open with a loud bang. Four zombies charged at them with bloodthirsty snarls. They reacted quickly and opened fire at them, aiming for their heads. Some of them fell to the ground with bullet holes in their skulls. Two more lunged at them from behind.
Flash Sentry grabbed one of them by the arm and flipped it over his shoulder. He shot it in the head as it landed on its back. He heard a grunt from Leon as he ducked under another zombie’s attack. He kicked it in the stomach and fired his gun at its face, making it go limp.
They breathed a sigh of relief but didn’t have much time to celebrate. They heard more zombies coming their way from inside the building. Leon looked down at the edge of the roof and saw a clear spot.
“Come on! Let’s jump down from here now!” he shouted as he ran towards it.
Flash Sentry followed him without hesitation. He hoped they would make it out alive.
“Damn it, why did we have to come here?” he thought as he jumped off the roof with Leon. “This is crazy!”
They landed on the nearest car with a loud crash. The metal crumpled under their weight and the glass shattered into pieces. The alarm went off and the horn blared. The infected nearby heard the noise and turned their heads towards them. They saw them on the car and growled with hunger.
“Shit! Get going! We don’t have much time now!” Leon shouted as he pushed Flash Sentry off the car. They ran towards the opposite direction as fast as they could.
Meanwhile, the infected swarmed around the car and tried to climb on it. They scratched and bit at the metal and the glass. They reached for Leon and Flash Sentry with their rotting hands. But they were too late. Leon and Flash Sentry had already disappeared into the shadows.
They had barely escaped the horde of infected, and they gasped for air as they reached a safe spot. “Okay, we’re almost there. My house is just a few blocks away. We can find some supplies there.” Flash said, pointing to the direction.
Leon nodded, but he looked anxious. “We can’t waste any more time hiding in the bushes. We need to get to your house, grab what we can, and then go back to the school. Your friends might not survive much longer on the roof.” He said, remembering the desperate voices of Micro Sandalwood and Sunny Flare on the radio.
They wasted no time and dashed towards their destination, staying in the shadows to avoid being spotted by anyone.
They finally reached Flash’s house after their run, but they saw the window and the door smashed open. They knew there were infected inside, waiting for them.
Flash tightened his grip on his weapon as he approached the broken door. “This is it. Let’s go then. But be careful, they might be hiding anywhere.” He said, scanning the dark interior.
“Roger that.” Leon said, nodding. They both entered the house cautiously, stepping over the debris and broken furniture. The house looked like it had been ransacked by the infected, but the structure was still intact.
They split up and searched the different floors. Flash went upstairs and Leon stayed downstairs. They were on high alert, looking for any supplies they could use. Leon checked the kitchen cabinet and the fridge, but he found nothing useful. He cursed under his breath and moved on. Flash headed to his parents’ room, where he knew there was a box hidden in the cabinet. He hoped his dad had left it there before the outbreak. He searched for it and found it under the bed. He dragged it out and opened it, grinning as he saw it was full of ammo and guns for emergencies.
“Thank you, Dad.” He whispered, feeling a surge of gratitude and sadness. He missed his Father. He wondered if he would be proud of him for surviving and helping his friends and he hoped that his mother was ok in this Apocalypse.
He looked around the room, which was still neat and tidy. His mom’s perfume lingered in the air, and his dad’s watch was on the nightstand. He felt a pang of nostalgia and grief, but he shook it off. He had to focus on the present, not the past. He grabbed the box and headed downstairs, hoping Leon had found something useful too.
“Leon! I got what we need!” Flash shouted as he came downstairs with the box. Leon looked at him in surprise and saw the supplies.
“Wow, your dad was prepared for anything. Did he have a premonition or something? Or did he just watch a lot of zombie movies?” Leon asked, impressed.
Flash chuckled a bit. “Yeah, he was a fan of Train to Busan and World War Z. He always said we should be ready for the worst. He stocked up on everything we might need to survive.” He said, feeling a mix of admiration and sorrow for his dad. He opened the box and took out some guns and ammo."Load up. Cause we don't know what's in store for us in the coming road so it's best that we get ready to go."
Leon grabbed another gun and loaded it with ammo. “So, what’s the plan? The school must be crawling with those things. How are we going to get there and not get bitten?” He asked, nervously.
Flash smirked and said, “I have a plan. I read this manga called Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, and it gave me an idea. It worked for the main character, so it might work for us too.” He said, confidently.
Leon noticed that Flash and his dad were into zombie apocalypse stuff. Flash went to the bookshelf and grabbed some magazines. He then went to the cupboard and took out some duct tape. He also got a football helmet and pads from the dresser. He started to tape the magazines around his arms and legs, creating makeshift armor. He put on the helmet and pads, and looked at himself in the mirror. He was ready for action.
Leon shook his head and said, “I hope you know what you’re doing. And don’t tell me you have a list of things you want to do before you become a zombie.” He said, sarcastically.
Flash laughed and said, “Of course not.” He tossed a book aside, which had the title ‘Things to do before I become a Zombie’ on it. He winked at Leon and said, “That’s just for inspiration.”
Leon shook his head and smiled. “Sometimes I don’t understand you anime fans at all.” He said. “Okay then. Let’s get there fast. Do you have any vehicle we can use?”
“My car was totaled in the crash, but I have something else in mind that might help us in the long run.” Flash said, leading him to the garage. They opened the door and saw their ride waiting for them. It was a Toyota Prius, one of the most reliable cars."Let's go I call shot gun and you take the driver seat." He held up the keys as Leon simply grabbed them.
"Hope you got your seat belts on cause we're in for a ride."
The streets were filled with chaos as the infected wandered around, looking for prey. They didn’t notice anything alive, until they saw a bright light coming their way. It was the Prius, speeding towards them and running them over. They flew in the air and crashed on the ground, while the car continued its way.
Leon was driving at full speed, while Flash was handling the ammo. “Nice. This baby is awesome. Your mom was going to give it to you for your birthday?” He asked.
“Yeah, she was." Flash nodded
"But why aren’t you driving it? It’s your car, after all.” Leon said.
“Eh, I need to focus on the strategy. I have to figure out how to get in the school and get our friends out. I can drive, but that can wait until we’re all safe. You’re a better driver than me, anyway.” He said.
“Okay then. So, what’s the plan?” Leon asked.
“Well, the plan is to go to the school and use the routes I know. I know the school like the back of my hand, so I also know where the infected are less likely to be.” He said."That and what I have in mind may be a thing in getting us out without to much trouble." He smiled.
"What do you have in mind so far?" Leon asked.
"Well. It involves a lot of big noises." He smiled as he opened a near bag as it was filled with fireworks."There is for a special occasion."
Sunny Flare looked around nervously. “How much longer until help arrives? We can’t stay here much longer.” She asked, worried.
Micro tried to calm her down. “We don’t know for sure. All we can do is keep ourselves alive and hope for the best.” He said, reassuringly."Any news so far Sandalwood?"
He shook his head, knowing there was no answer to that. “No, there isn’t. But let’s hope Flash is on his way to help us.” He said, trying to sound optimistic.
“If he’s still alive, that is.” She said, grimly. “What can your friend do, anyway? You seem to think highly of him.” She asked, curiously.
“Flash is creative and determined. He always follows the right path and helps others. Even when the odds are against him, he still manages to come out on top.” Sandalwood said, proudly.
She asked, “What’s he going to do to help us out?”
Suddenly, they heard a whistling noise and looked up. They saw a firework exploding in the distance, followed by more and more. The bright colors and loud sounds drew the attention of the hungry monsters. The infected near and around the school turned their heads and ran towards the source of the noise, thinking it was food. Soon after more and more went to that direction as then the three were left alone as they can fell they were left alone.
She muttered, “Looks like someone started New Year’s Eve early.”
A little while later, as they waited for the infected to clear out, the door of the roof banged loudly. They aimed their weapons, expecting the worst. But then they heard a familiar voice.
“Is anyone in there? Please tell me you’re alive and not undead.” Flash’s voice said.
Sandalwood quickly pushed the furniture away and let the boy in. “What’s up? Did someone call for help?” Flash said, entering. He was immediately hugged by Sandalwood and Micro, who were glad their friend was alive.
“Dude! You’re here! You’re alive!” They exclaimed.
“Yeah, I am. But as much as I hate to break up the moment, we have to get out of here before the others come back.” Flash said, breaking the hug. He quickly ordered, “Come on. Leon is waiting for us.”
The three didn’t question him and followed him. Soon after they ran through the halls, they saw some infected dead. Flash was the first to react and called out to Leon as they finally reached the outer side and saw the car with a man near it.
“Leon! I got them. Hurry up the engine!” Flash called out. “Come on, we don’t have much time!”
“I call back seat,” Sunny Flare immediately said as she went with him. Sandalwood and Micro soon followed as they went in the back seat. “Let’s go before we are seen!”
“Already on it!” Leon started the engine and drove off to the other side of the road in a quick manner. “We’re out now.”
“Thank god! We’re finally safe from there. I thought we were gone back there if you hadn’t shown up,” Sunny Flare thanked them. “Also, the fireworks. Did you get those from the manga Zoom 100? And the suit?”
“Hey, it was good in there and I had to try it out. Plus, it worked, you know,” Flash argued back. He then went into the bag and took out three water bottles as he gave them to his friends. “Drink up then.”
“Don’t mind if we do,” Sandalwood said as he and two others grabbed the bottle and chugged it down as they hadn’t had water for a while. “Oh man, that hit the spot. Thanks bro. You and Mister Leon saved us back there.”
“Don’t mention it. And call me Leon,” Leon said as he kept his eyes on the road."Ok, You kids ease up and get rested. We can ask questions later once where at our next destination."
“Where are we heading anyway? Please tell me we’re going for more supplies because we’re almost out of them,” Flash asked as he checked the bag. “We only have about three days of supplies left and not much else on that.”
“So that’s why we’re heading out to the one place that was told to have supplies - the Centerlot City Police Station,” he said, making Flash and the others to take back. “That will be the only place that has the supplies we need to make sure we can survive. If the place itself is infected by those things, then we can make our run by getting them.”
“It’s our only option if we want to get out of this town,” Flash agreed as he looked back. “Okay guys, get your guns and ammo. I think we’re going to need them later on.”
Sunny Flare signed heavily as she heard this."Just as I thought things were looking up." She muttered.
The car went through the road of the abandoned streets of Canterlot City, or what's left of it that is.
Leon had been on clear surveillance as he was driving. The four teens were getting quite easy for now."So, were gonna be in reaching the Police Station soon, So in the mean time we have to have our amo and gear checked if there is a possible hord of Infected there."
"Already on it. We have about much to last out long but not long enough." Flash told as he checked the bag."I checked the amo and seem to find bullets that aren't for this gun. That can be a problem for later. " He told as he find the bullets for a shotgun.
"Well, We were in a hurry and we couldn't actually afford the right bullets to know which goes where. We were trying to live through you know." Sunny Flare stated as she looked out the window."We grabbed anything that was there and used it to our advantage."
"So, The school had fire arms?"
"That's what's your wondering?!" She said as Flash gave her a look."Listen, I was in a coma and woke up in a middle of a zombie apocalypse scenario. So excuse me for being a bit talkative."
Sandalwood tried to ease up the situation."Easy there you two. Save your energy for later." He tried to make them calmed down and it worked."Ok, So now that we're out of there for now. Mind giving us all an update on how you managed to survive the zombie apocalypse dude. We both thought you would have become Zombie chow?"
"Yeah, The place isn't all that easy to miss with the infected roaming around and devouring everything in there path wither alive or dead." Micro told.
Flash had a second to think and just shook his head."Don't know. All I can say is I was lucky to survive. When I woke up I found my self in the hospital room and when I got out I saw everything was a mess. It didn't take long for me to run into one of the infected and then I ran to hide and found Leon there. And then we had to escape from the roofs to get to my house to resupply. Which is where is managed to get you guys signal. The rest you know." He explained to the three as they accepted the answer.
"But, Damn your lucky. The others weren't when the infection began." Sunny Flare told."I managed to find these two and was able to get out of danger for a little while."
"How did you three end up in that situation anyway?" Flash couldn't help but ask as the car went on its way."I mean, Just asking you guys would have been in school for that to happen."
"We were actually." Sandalwood told as he started to tell the tale."A few days when the infection first began and took over the population in Canterlot. We both were in after visiting the hospital to see if you were awake or not. We visited every day and didn't miss a chance. Micro read things to you when you were down."
Micro adjust his glasses as he spoke."I simply go with the stories you liked of old tail heroes like Hercules or King Arthur. We took turns in helping you recover by trying to give messages in your mind which were positive. It was told that a coma victim is given positive feedback in there mind then there's a 90% chance for them to recover."
Flash chuckled."No wonder the time was enjoyable in my dream."
Sandalwood continue on."So when our turn were done we went to the school as there was another function taking place by principals. They told us about another rewrite of friendship games as to have a friendly matter. When that happened Me and Micro had just accepted and were gonna participate when the infected Burst in. They were in low army as not much but it changed when they started to corrupt the others. We watched helplessly as many were fallen to the prey of theres." He had a grimm expression as he looked down.
"What about the Rainbooms. They should have been able to help with there magic." Flash asked.
"Wait what?" Leon suddenly asked as he looked at them."What do you mean magic?"
"Oh, We didn't explain to you about that haven't we." Flash muttered as he looked at his two friends and nodded."Well Leon you see our school wasn't ordinary school as."
There he began to tell him about all what happened and what the girls were capable of and on how the trial of power went when Sunset and Twilight gained power in there head. There's also the camp part and finally the last incident of the crystal Triangle."You know, This story would be quite not so good Albie for the police you know." Leon said taking it all in. He didn't though he be hearing about this but guess what a zombie out break isn't normal aswell."How didn't the Government find about this mess. If the girls as you said were causing a global pandemic then it means that the government would have found out about them and may have went after them."
Sunny nodded."I thought about that aswell. It may have been luck or it may have been they knew and are waiting for the right moment to strike. But, I think a whole outbreak may have caused it to speed up aswell." She told her thoughts."Also, Have you thought that this may have been gotten out a bit live on TV news and the government would actually help."
"We don't actually know about that Sunny." Micro said."We could talk about this but we have to get to a safe place first to rest. Getting to the Police Station may be a good idea but I think the Infected may be there aswell. Cause the city has fallen amd the only place left is the one where the survivors are at." He calculated and gave them the answer."So, Basic Zombie movie thought as they had given out that the Infected type zombies are always there where you least aspect them to be."
Flash nodded."Listen to the nerd. He and I have been in a zombie movie marathon and all we know about is that infected are tricky and unpredictable when they are given the chance to use brains. So it's best if we take cover and resupplying our rations till we are in the clear zone."
Leon had to admit that it's a good choice so he had to agree. Plus, They were running for a while and getting some sleep would be good in matter. So he drive through the streets and was going through less of infected roaming around. As they went on he suddenly saw a light in a house block and he made sure his eyes didn't deceive him he saw a person shadow behind the curtains as it then shut the lights down. He quickly stopped the car taking the teens in suprise."Wow! Why you stop so suddenly?!" Sunny asked.
Leon kept his look at the house."There's someone there. In that house and I saw the person inside shut down the lights. And if these things haven't learned to do that yet meaning someone is still alive." He gave them the answer as the teens looked at one another not sure. But Flash recognize the house immediately."Wait! That's were Scootaloo lives! She's Rainbow Dash biggest fan and she even invited me hear some times in helping her study."
He quickly got in action as he had his makeshift Armor on and put on the helmet and grabbing his weapon. He exited the car as well as the others as they made sure to see if any Zombies were around. When the cost was clear they went towards the house. Flash reached the door and saw it was locked. He looked around and found a plant pot near. The others thought he was gonna smash the door alerting any zombies near. But, He picked it up and found a key under it. The others didn't question as he used it to open the door.
He gave the others hand signals on getting ready as Sunny didn't know what he said but the others did so she held on to her gun and aimed. He quickly opened the door and they all aimed with there flashlights. They looked around to see no one as the cost was clear. They each gave a nod and split up. Micro with Sandalwood. Sunny with Flash and Leon checked the alone.
Micro and Sandalwood went slowly towards the Living room as Sandalwood held on his shotgun and micro had his hand gun. He scanned the area and didn't find anything. Leon slowly went in the kitchen where he saw the light come from and found an empty room. He looked around and found a pot that was realising some steam meaning it was used."I was right. There is some one hear. Not an infected." He thought about it.
Flash and Sunny Flare were looking at around upwards as they also watched each others backs."So, What this kid look like?"
"Short, Orange skin, Purple hair like a tomboy aswell as dress up." He gave her a brief discription."Look around and don't cause any scene. We still do-" He was cut off when the door to the side room broke down and an infected was on it."Shit!" He yelled making the infected turn to him as he saw it was Scootaloo Uncle Riley.
He quickly pushed Sunny to the side and the infected launch at him. Good thing for the equipment there he couldn't get bit but it wouldn't last long. The infected try to bite him more as he struggles to hold on more but it was to strong. Just then it was kicked to the side by Sunny as she pointed her gun and shot it. It didn't back down but it did alert the others. As she shot it trying to give Flash to get up but the thing was getting up fast as she couldn't aim well. Flash quickly got his gun out as it went for her, But Just then a tennis ball came out of no where and hit it on the head which with enough force impact on its head but it didn't die. The two looked to find the attacker and saw the Scootaloo her self holding a make shift weapon that was a vacuum cleaner filled with tennis balls.
Flash got out of his shock and got his aim right in it's head and fired blowing it's brain out and killing it there. The body fell as both teens finally took breath."What happened!" Leon yelled as he and the others came guns in hands. They saw the dead body and a kid with a makeshift weapon."Who are you? Is this the kid we were looking for?"
Scootaloo held the weapon at him and was still on guard. Before she could fire Flash quickly intervene"Wait! Scoot it's Me Flash! Don't shoot!" She stopped in her mid attack but kept the weapon forward."H-Hey, Take it easy Scott, Non of us are bitten. Well I made sure to check and as they haven't turned witch mean that's good thing then."
Leon also intervened."Kid, Don't worry we aren't infected and are ok. You don't need to worry."
"Yeah, Tell it to them! Because of your sound the Zombies witch were locked up know that someone around because of the sound you made. The whole street is gonna be roaming with those things now." She stressed out as she took deep breaths as she was getting more and more stressed. Luckily Flash came to ease her."Hey, Calm down, Calm down Scootaloo it's ok, No one is going to harm you or anything and nothing going to happen to you. Calm down."
For a little while she didn't but soon she did so. Taking a deep breath she eased up calming her self as she let go of the vacuum cleaner. As she did so Leon went towards the window of the open room where the Infected was."Guy's, I think she had a point on that."
The others went towards the window and saw where he was looking and were soon in a state of shock. Sunny Flare called Flash out."Hey Sentry, You might wanna see this." She said as Flash came towards the window and was meet with a sight of infected roaming around the streets as they were all surrounding the car and were looking around."Looks like our little fude may have caused them to get alert and come out for us. Were trapped."
"No shit." Sandalwood muttered as Micro looks around."They don't know were up hear as it's dark but it won't be long before they get the jift on were we are."
"Did you lock the door!" Scootaloo quickly asked as she panicked."If they see that!""Hey ease up Scott, I did that when we entered. So we're ok." Flash told the young girl.
"So we might wanna baracde the doors and window then! I think they be around whole night so it's best we keep out and stay inside till they go away." Leon gave the idea as it was good. The others didn't need to say anything as they already went on the plan."Flash, You stay with the girl. She looks like she needs someone to watch her. I go help the others and meet back." He went off leaving the two behind.
Downstairs the others were covering the doors and windows with Furniture as Sandalwood and Leon carried the sofa and put it Infront of the door to block it. Micro used the clothes and tapped them together to form a big cloth and gave it to Sunny Flare as she put it Infront of the window to block the silhouette of there's in the dark. And was covering the edge areas of windows so no sounds may leave. As they were doing that Flash was with Scootaloo as she had calmed down.
"Then I wake up to find that everyone I know had suddenly turned in to those- Those Things outside and I was left to fend for my self. My uncle was bitten so he told me to shut the door so he wouldn't hurt me or anyone and now I find that he was now dead and all was left was the corpse walking in the room where you were." She finishes telling the tail as Flash could see her distress look."You know, Back then I thought this would have to be a work of equestrian magic and the Rainbooms maybe the one to stop this.... But, No one have heard from them for years. They went MIA and all around was chaos. I wanted to wait for them so that they would come and help. I waited and waited... But no sir, They never came."
".... Maybe they were caught in the whole catastrophe." She looks as Flash as he looked Infront."I got Into an accident and was in a coma. When I woke up, I found I was in a scene of the walking dead and was now left to survive. I didn't know what to do and was thinking of finding help. But all I got was keep running from these infected. I didn't have no one to help, So I relied on my self and had to use my skills and survive. Couldn't wait for anyone to help you know." He told her as he continues."But Also I wanted to help find the survivors and save them aswell. And your strong aswell. You managed to keep your self safe and even made the weapon out of house supplies. You did a Frank west and that's something."
Scootaloo looked at him then back Infront."If this to cheer me up, Its working alright."She finally smiled as she could lay back."Things aren't easy for me now and I'm not in going out. But I only have enough supplies of food to last a month. With you guys hear it would end in weeks."
"Don't worry about that. We won't be staying hear for two long. After the hord out there is gone in the morning we'll sneak out and use the car to drive off. We're actually going on to the police station and get supplies there. The others think the survivors are there." He told her as the others finally came back."We managed to keep the hord from not noticing us and they don't have a clue on where we're at. So it's safe to day we won't be fighting them... For now." Leon gave the briefing as the other three sat down.
Sunny flare looked towards Scootaloo as she asked."Hey, Do you have anything to eat around hear. The last days we haven't had anything well to eat for a while." She pleaded as she was starving."Yeah, I got some food. Hope you guys like Noddles-"
"Yes!"
That was all she got as she went down to get the packs. Sandalwood desided to tag along so he can keep her safe. As they both were gone Leon started to talk."So, We are to get to the nearest safe area which is to reach the police station but with all of them outside we have to wait till morning."
"But, I think before we go there. Maybe we should take a detour." Micro suddenly said as the others looked at him in question."The thing is that the virus that may have caused the infection to fell on the town would have been in use at the Science laboratory of Canterlot. I mean that was where they had told they be getting a cure."
"Why the hell we should go there instead of going to where we are supposed to go? That's seem to be stupid thing to do." She question at his idea."Hear me out. If the scientist there may have been working on a cure over there, Then that mean that there would be possible some people around and are in close during the connection of the outbreak." He gave them his thoughts as they thought this through.
Flash had to agree that there may possibly be something related."I agree." This suprise the others."If what Micro think may be right then there's a chance that the virus samples would be in the same place ment to find a cure. If we could get to it and maybe possibly find the sample we may find a cure for it aswell. We just need more-"
"Are you not listing! We may not have that much fire power in our hands you know?!" She said in hush toon as she couldn't take chance in alerting the zombies."You think if there's any survivors at the Canterlot Science and Acknowledgment then we have to have tools to get there. We don't have enough fire power to reach there and what if there isn't anything there and only more dead people. What's then?!"
Flash thought about it but Leon came in with his thoughts."Just wait a minute. I think Flash may have a point in the matter. If we need more fire power then we may get some on our way. There are weapons there in the open road. But, If there's a slight chance that there's a help in matter there then we might take it. What options we have anyway." He gave her a clear out answer as she couldn't argue. The whole town in gone off as clear panic and into the Apocalypse and what's left is the remaining people who are trying to eat there flesh. As much as she wanted to argue to save her life she didn't have any."Plus, We may get in contact with the outer government and may get help in matter."
"So it's desided then. Tomorrow morning on the chance we get. All of us including Scootaloo would get out to go to the near location of the Canterlot laboratory. And on our way we may need to get in contact with outside help and as much as I would not say this but we may need to keep a vigilant on who we contact." When Flash told them this the others gave him a weird look." Hear me out. The whole city is dead and the area is like in lock down. If help was needed then we would have gotten it a month or two but it looks like we are locked out of it. And it may be a work of something or.. someone."
Leon question the kid in his deduction."So, You think someone is keeping us out to not call in the big guys?"
"Yes"
His answer we in a heart beat. He couldn't tell why but this was all the things his mind was telling him would happen and is happening for the time we woke up. All thoughts on how it happened had caused to one conclusion. 'Someone is in on it.'"I been having some thoughts on the matter and this is what I got in mind. I'm not saying to completely agree with me, All I'm saying is have some trust in me on this thought."
"We trust you kid. We may not have anything other to do so. And what you said is what I thought aswell."
"Me to actually." Micro agreed in the matter."The latest report was on the water being polluted and the skin disease that had happened. If I may say, This was like it was planned from the start."
As they were in the house to survive from the hord of zombies outside as they roam the streets for the matter to find there next prey. As they were roaming around a strange bird was on top of a pole as it's eyes suddenly zoomed in on the house where the survivors were at. It saw the whole thing and then flew off to the other direction.
At the streets of Canterlot City where there was nothing left but broken car ans such. At a near building area, There was a barricade made Infront of the building as it had Ben covered with spikes and was inches longer so the infected won't get on. Inside the building it was practically empty with the supplies around there weren't even touched and we're stacked well. Footsteps could be heard as a man was walking in the hall of the building as he wore a stealth army outfit with gun in his hand. He walked and soon stopped in the area of the hall and soon faced the wall. He pressed his hand on the side of the wall when suddenly a glow came from where his hand was as if it was being scanned.
Then suddenly the wall opened Infront of him as it was revealed to be a lift as he went in and the door closed. The lift took him down to his destination as he waited. Finally, The door of the loft opened as he was now in a large room where couple of people would be scene working on the computers and some were working on test tubes. He walked passed them as he was went through a room that was filled with large test tubes.
One of the test tubes had a large silhouette of a figure inside that was female and had a monitor on the right side showing the vitals signs of her. The same of the figure in it was designated as 'Experiment E-5' on it. The soldier walked passed a few more as they also had numbers on them. 'Experiment E-4' 'Experiment E-3','Experiment E-2', 'Experiment E-1'.
He finally reached his destination as it was a door that had a Id code on it. He punched in the numbers and soon after a second it opened as he went in. He reached in and was now in an office room that had white walls and clear cut design. A person at in a chair as the person was looking at the other direction with the face not showing."Mam, We have gottan security around the open areas of the least infected. We have also found the location of our last two remaining test subjects that had gotten out. They are somewhere hiding in the north streets of the town."
"....Then what are you doing hear yapping to me about. Go on and find them. And make sure you won't do the same mistake you did before to Capture the reaming two girls. They might spill the beans to the others if this got out." The person told from her chair."And how goes the report of the others in matter. Have they been successful in taking on the matter of this, Portal'."
"Our scientist are still in getting the energy signature locked on. But we are in close of making 97% success. At that rate-"
"100." She cut him off before he could finish."I want that done in a 100% answer. No buts or so. And make sure to give me reports on the matter. Understood." She ordered as the soldier nodded and put down a small USB on the desk and went off.
The female hurd the door click as she let out a sign. She reached the USB with her white colour hand and grabbed it. She held it in her hand and was examine the device.
"Soon, Soon my thrust for knowledge would be on more."
At an empty apartment house. Someone was there on the bed as it reveals to be Twilight Sparkle. She had bandage over her right arm and had covered her sides with more bandages. She finally called down from all the pain as she now relaxed a bit. But, It still didn't ease her up from the pain in matter that went through her body. She just lied down on the bed as she barricades the door with her magic as she put objects Infront of it. And then she covered the window aswell as she could now rest in peace. That she thought...
"Run! Don't look back Twilight just Run! They be coming for you and won't stop so forgot me and get out of hear!"
"But Sunset?!"
"No time! Just go!" And with that Sunset gave her the opening to escape by sacrificing her self.
She just wish this nightmare to end. She could only cry in her sleep.
