I work at a Walmart, I've not looked all that closely at our little book section to see if we do or do not have any romance stuff let alone "romance" ones but I have noticed we've got some manga of all things. Don't remember which ones because that is not the area of the store I normally work in but I know they are there.
The main reason I am replying to this comment about Walmart though is that over in the pharmacy section of my store there is a full on unlocked and not-at-all-hidden cabinet for full on sex toys and associated items, for both males and females. Dildos, butt plus, strokers (with all three in vibrating and non options), rings, lube, and more. I did a double take the first time I saw it. That is also not my normal section so I don't know how often that sort thing comes in stock but the few times I've been over there either as a customer or associate what product on the shelf ebbs and flows so I know it is being bought and it it is getting restocked.
