This kinda reminds me of that low rated movie called: Trouble in Frogtown. That, and mix that with Dune from the 1980’s.

I heard about Frogtown over the years, but never have seen it.
The more recent iteration of Dune was somewhat of an inspiration (the Turgid Kingdom’s stronghold was somewhat like the desert planet stronghold in my mind), though I do feel that this idea sprang to mind after seeing Pixar’s film Lightyear, given that it was somewhat of an homage to old-school science fiction.
The big goal os to not over-explain things, but to give the reader just enough description in order to use their imagination.

Alright, so generally speaking I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to reading this, but I wanted to say you got some stellar cover art going for you. Giving that old Scholastic style some love - at least that’s what it looks like to me.

The style was to go with the look of a 1970’s paperback science fiction story.
Went over a number of different cover styles, and then this one felt just right.
The font for the title was a happy accident, and had certain shapes that felt just right for the story.
I like some of the stories to have covers that fit with certain story styles. Like The Expansive Romance of Applebloom and Coral Lead, was meant to emulate a romance novel cover.
"Moments later, the camera switched to Zircon. The pink pony was clad in a flowery robe, her silver hair glinting from the nearby lights, as her bright blue eyes focused on Plenn. Her quite ample chest dominated the lower part of the screen."
Zircon in name + Pink Fur Silver hair + Stuck up entitlement = Diamond Tiara.

Because Sweetie Belle is a unicorn living in Equestria.
Mam Marella is a unicorn who is in league withe ranger corp, going on wild and sometimes naughty adventures in space.
Man that must have been Plenn Te of milk to fill up a whole container with milk!
Aww i really like this chapter i hoped SO hard that the pony who gave.. uhh.. manicure and hooficure(?) more than just 30 credits.. then when she got 300.. and started to tear up.. that got me a little choked it was very heart warming while i was constantly worried something BS would happen to plenn te during the wholesome story.. so glad nothing bad happened in this chapter

Glad you enjoyed it! It often makes my spirits fall when no one comments or tells me they have read the story.
Usually, it is acknowledgment that helps get me to keep going. I often feel if there was more, it would be like a lot of caffeine to get me going.

Yeah i get what you feel but do not just solely rely on other people to keep you going.. you have to be enjoying yourself as well and the only one who can pull that happiness out of you is yourself.. if you just rely on people commenting and such then your stories and motivation will be doomed to fail.. not that its wrong wanting people to comment more and say more than just ''i just read the story'' but do not solely rely on them either.. if that makes sense

Hmmmm...for a Space Ranger who says has no deep feelings for him,Mam certainly enjoys spending a lot time with the prince when things get a little calm.
Do you think that the next episode will also be the last? I wouldn't be surprised if she caves in and gives him a huge kiss before coming to her senses and begins her first day as his new bodyguard.

I can honestly say there will be no more of this story.
It takes a lot of effort and time to write and make these, and needless to say when this is more of a side-hobby than a job, one has to figure out their priorities.
