Or did they?

It's surprisingly hard to figure it out.

The answer to the Diamond Question seems obvious to me. It would be better to run over five reformed Diamond Tiaras and save the one evil one.

Very cute. Scootaloo would get my vote any day of the week. My only complaint is that Twilight acted a little overly dumb at points, in my opinion.

Cute story!

I think above all, you captured the CMC’s energy pretty much perfectly. Their antics really kept me reading until the end.

Oh yeah, I can see that. This is definitely early seasons Twilight, with neuroses and obsessions. But she's mostly there to disrupt the train wreck and return the CMCs back to reality.

Thanks! They're fun to juggle, as long as they don't overstay their welcome.

Or multi-track drifting.

This was brilliant. Everything about this was wonderful.

From the CMC's confusion, to their guardian's being absurdly vague, to Diamond Tiara giving zero bucks about any of it, to Twilight's adorably dorky pursuit of a new species, and breakdown upon realizing there was no such discovery in sight, and she was still on the hook for all her mistakes, to Spike as the long suffering straight man. Ten out of ten, would read again.

I'm glad someone appreciates it was intended to be appreciated. :D

It helps that it's the CMC being cute, and not the usual talking down you'd see from a "political" story. I almost passed it by because of the title. Glad I stuck it out.
