Punished Bean

Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in.

T

The Zephyr Heights Museum of History holds a great treasure: the Curator, an ancient ghost with experience to entrance both the visitors and the museum's Janitor, who has given up on matching his idol a long time ago. Can his mind be changed?
Isn't the ghost in the Zephyr Heights Museum of History is still a pony, after all?

Written for Bean's Writing Group's prompt #25.
Theme: "The Ghost in the Room"
Bonus: "Teach something in the story"

That is easily the strangest direction you could have taken this story in. c.c I mean, I get the message at the end, but surely there was another way to communicate it?

Of course there are other ways. This was simply a way I thought as both relatable and lighthearted, without being as crude as stating that "everyone poops". Also I don't think ghosts poop.
What direction would you take it in?

I mean, I probably would have just left it with "working at the museum is real interesting when one of your coworkers is a ghost." Maybe have a conversation between them, show that she's not just an automaton. I dunno, it's your story. :B

Oh. Having it just as a fun scenario seems a bit boring to me. I felt like doing a thing about the perception of idols and humanity of them, self-worth in comparison with them, and breaking through those, would be a bit more interesting at least.

Aww kind of charming
