The only thing worse than terrible customers is dealing with corporate. We complained for months that our machines were broken and they finally replaced them but they gave us 2 instead of the 3 we had.
I've yet to see the movie, but more Pipp focus is nice!
While I don't think Queen Haven would have worded this so crudely, I can't really blame her either.

now that i think about it, this story itself is a revival of the classic HiE trope story, with a new setting and new generation of characters, so all this feels very fitting in a meta sense!

aww! honestly, seeing Zipp and Johanna become friends would be something pretty fun to see
it's a sweet moment to end on, and a great bit of fun overall, but i can't help but wish you'd had more time to see through your original idea for this story, because this does feel cut short. i feel like it just needs more overall. more development of Johanna and Pipp actually getting to know each other, Johanna getting to know the other characters, conflicts, and resolutions. my eyes were drawn here especially to Zipp and Haven, who felt the most alive as characters for their initial skepticism, and potential conflicts to resolve.
but as a contest entry, i really do appreciate it! and if this type of story is one you've truly enjoyed writing (i'm getting the sense that a story with Queen Haven is the one that you really wanted to write, or something), i do hope you continue to do so, and will be there to support them.

I can relate to Johanna (tho I'm a male) as I've worked retail for 25 years (yes I am old) and had to deal with a vomiting customer last week (young kid) I gotta say when I saw the movie izzy was my number 1 but watching the show I adore pipp so much she is so damn adorable I just wanna hug her and cuddle and snuggle and listen to her sing. can't wait to see where this goes I am loving this so far
