Edit: I read the chapter late last night. Anywho, it was a good chapter. Not a lot of progression but it seems like you're building up to something interesting. I'll look forward to more.

Well concerned reader, allow me to put hose fears to rest. Although I would prefer to increase them seeing as how the Holiday for it is near.
The story is still ongoing, unfortunately due to many of life's obstacles making themselves present to me limits my time and the story's progress.
Seeing as how a short vacation is on the way by Thanksgiving, that should be enough time for me to finish the next chapter.
I am honestly surprised that anyone even looks at this story anymore, it is rather pleasing to know that it is.

I am REALLY LOVING THIS STORY. It's just too bad, this guy has such a pessimistic outlook.
