I'll take that as a good thing.
Well, I must say that's quite the good cover art. Its does what its supposed to do. Provides nightmare fuel to the readers while making them wonder what happened to Rarity at the same time. Thus making them curious enough to read this story. I know it did for me. So as an artist myself, I give kudos to the artist of this well done cover art.

Nah it's not dead, just had issues in writing chapter 4 as I explained in my most recent blog post. In fact that chapter is almost done and should be coming out shortly!

No, I just came up with the story off the top of my head after thinking up ideas for a story involving Rarity. When I was making this I knew I wanted to do a Rarity centric story but I didn't know what to write. Then I thought about how much I like horror and an idea for a horror story I had a while ago, also thought that there weren't enough Rarity horror stories out there. So yeah, now the cover image was just a happy accident as when I tried to find an image for the cover I dug real deep and found this one. It just matched so perfectly I couldn't believe it and just used it. Massive props to the OG artist, this image is great!
