After a spell goes haywire, Twilight Sparkle and her friends find themselves on a strange planet infested with alien bugs. Lost, annoyed, and just a little sleep deprived, the six ponies seek help in the form of green creatures who love war and hate friendship.

Really fun so far! Nice to see the ponies and orks getting along, more or less. The action sequences were well done, but Mane Six characterization doesn't quite feel right; though this is more an issue in the first chapter than the second.

*attempts the best impression of an Orc voice he can manage*

MOOOAAARRRR!!

WAAARG!!

Admittedly, "I couldn't find baking powder so I used gunpowder" would have worked better with Pinkie Pie. And there are a few visual cues I set up later that I could have better put into the opening to give it a more "unreal" feel to it. But those were thoughts for Saturday's morning shower and not Friday's :P

Editing is pain.

“Nope!” Pinkie Pie pulled out a brown paper bag. “Gunpowder!”

God damn it, Pinkamena Diane Pie.:facehoof::fluttershbad::raritydespair::rainbowhuh::applejackconfused::pinkiecrazy:

“But how!” Applejack exclaimed. “I don’t get it!”

Orks are basically like Pinkie Pie only more chaotic and more violent. Anything they build or do just works for them.

Pinkie nudged him in the ribs. “You know. Party. ‘Waahg!’”

“Waahg!” they all shouted.

Right, right, lemme try that again...

I love Ork lore so much. I wanted to include more of it, honestly, but I also didn't want to go overboard in case people unfamiliar with Warhammer gave this a read, too. That and balancing Warhammer's tone with Pony was hard enough already :P

YEAH!! Now we're talking! now ‘dat's a propa WAAAGH! We orks iz da best!

Regardless, I expect Pinkie to find a camaraderie with the Orkz. And with that.......

br'n 'n 'da DAKKA ! kause we're gunna WAAAGH!!

WAAAAAAAAGH!!!

Great chapter! Nice to see everyone's individual interactions with the orks, and each one was entertaining. Slowly but surely, it looks like friendship will win out.

Spoilers D:

But yeah. I had soooooooo much fun writing that chapter. I made some pretty extensive use of a cockney-accent translator for the Orks, and then I either dumbed it down or up depending on how incomprehensible it was. The ponies just rolling with it makes me happy.

ROFLMAO! Well ain't that a kick in the flanks!:rainbowlaugh::pinkiecrazy:

Great final chapter! Sure, perhaps it wasn't their own dimension that was in any danger, but the ponies did their part to put an end to the endless wars.

Admittedly, it was a bit hard to follow what was going on at times, and Fluttershy being adamant that the bugs being impossible to reason with feels at odds with her successfully telling them to leave, but everything wrapped up well.

In my defense, all my beta readers were lazy and didn't actually read the thing :P Which is to say I didn't notice that plot hole until just now.

Oh come on Pinkie Pie. You would've look badass with a ork power klaw. Hell, you could've fit right in with the orkz because they're Warhammer 40k deadly brutal versions of you with the same nonsensical reality defying powers. Everything they build or everything they do just works because they believe it so.:pinkiecrazy:

If she were a butcher, I think it would be a good deal. Or an ice sculptor. Baking with a giant set of knives for one hand? Sounds difficult.
