Long: After living for 800 years, life can get episodic. The special becomes common and life gets boring. The prince of the lycans, Shadow Hound, was stuck in a loop where life just lost all excitement. That is until, one day, he meets a flying unicorn from Equestria who opens Shadow's eyes to new possibilies. As Shadow tests the new pony's convictions, he ends up challenging a few of his own.

Story takes place 200 years before Shadow Rising.

I read this again because it's been a while.
Isn't often one sees anything but the first chapter in the lead in terms of view count, but there are only two chapters, most of the action is in the second chapter, and the second chapter is longer anyway so I guess this makes sense.
