For some reason I never got notifications for the entire second act when it was posted. I only went back through my shelves and saw a whole bunch of unread chapters this week. At the same time I'm sad to see that the author left the site long ago, so I expect there will never be any more.

That's a damn shame. This story was brilliantly written, adorable, and powerful emotions all over.
