A world with magic, and a world meant to thrive without... Legend has it that six ponies would rise seal the rift between the worlds that were never meant to meet, returning harmony to both. And I, Twilight Sparkle, am the one destined to seek out these foretold saviors, these valiant heroes with incredible power, and together we shall save- Wait, wait, hold on... These are the ponies meant to save the worlds? Oh no. Oh, no, no, no ,no, no! We are doomed. So doomed. Celestia, help me.
Equestrian is home to many a powerful and magical creature, but not all get along. Feuds between the mighty caused havoc, and so it was that the great wizard Starswirl the Bearded opened the first rift to another dimension to banish the malicious. Little did he know that the continuous tears in the cosmos that occurred for centuries thereafter were greatly disrupting the natures of both worlds. Only a single thread kept them from colliding for many years, albeit a powerful one: The Elements of Harmony, for their power withstands in any world. Then they were tied to the alicorn sisters, and all seemed to be at peace. That was, until, the fall of princess Luna. Both sisters broke their harmony, and when one had to use the elements to banish the other they thus severed their ties to them. And so the worlds collided. When a world full of magic meets one without, they try to find balance. Thought they meeting of the worlds was a brief occurrence, much of Equestria's magic got swept into the other world... as much of is populous was. Now Equestria struggles to thrive under chaotic conditions left in the void meant for it's missing. And the other world? It now has magic not meant for it, muted magic that is constantly struggling against natural order. And in this place ponies are not the dominant species.
A thousand years after the collide, the elements have finally bound themselves to new bearers. All Twilight has to do is step into that other world, find them, return the lost magic to Equestria, and permanently seal the breach between the worlds. Okay, so it's not much of a plan, but at least there's a checklist!
IMPORTANT: This is my 'warm-up' story. That means I work on it about fifteen minutes a day before writing for an hour on one of my main projects. This story wont be as well organized, but it'll still be fun.
Is there a difference?
What does she mean by that?
How did he know they were called humans? Also, are these humans from the EQG world or are they humans from the real world?
Are there reports of ponies going missing?
According to what?
What does it mean by not have a visible presence?
In what?
Who’s that?
What’s the reason they get along?
And, that would be?
Wait, so she transformed from Nightmare Moon to Luna without the elements of harmony?
Im seeing a lot she’s and hers but I’m not sure who it’s referring to.
Wait, so celesta never told her about the elements of harmony?
What does that mean?
Wait, it’s a necklace?
What does that mean?
B*tch, she would have to tell me, I don’t care what she says.

Dear Pete100
Haha, I like you. Glad to see you have so many questions! Show's you're interested. To clarify your first couple, those we Sunset's notes, not Starswirl's. (Hence the difference in signature.) But perhaps I aught to change the font to make that a little more clear. Oh, and you can blame Twilight for skipping to the important stuff with the incomplete sentences. And yes, in this world Luna was not rainbow blasted. Hm, I'll work to try to keep the "she & hers" less confusing. As for the rest, it's either intentionally cryptic or left to the reader's interpretation. I'm not a fan of overexplaining things. As it is, I hope you'll find that to be less of a problem as the story continues and I'm no longer worried about boring people with with exposition. My intent is to leave people with enough questions to be invested, but not so much that they are frustrated. If I happen to tilt in the latter direction, I'd very much appreciate you letting me know.

Wait, but are the humans from eqg world or are they regular humans?
10527264
Dear Pete100,
I suppose it doesn't really matter. My imagination painted them as "real" (still in an animated style) but them being rainbow colored doesn't hurt. More importantly is that this story will take place before the age of steam, so there won't be any recognizable humans.

Age of steam?

Dear Pete100
Just wait and see where the story goes ;)

Alright, but if age of stream is something relevant i hope its explained. Along with the rest of my questions that weren’t answered.
Why?
How?
Wait, so if they enter the forest and village they won’t see anyone?
Wait, so zecora lives in the human world?
Wait, are the humans holding them against their will?
What does that mean?
What does that look and sound like to the humans?
10542395
Yes, as do most mainstream characters.
Pretty much
10542412
Are those the only questions your gonna answer?
Who the hell told her that lie?
How did she know that?
I just realized this, but why is she calling her a filly?
“New Eques”? That means they know about the old one, right?
I have so many questions about this part.

It's in place of the word 'girl' in the terms of how one might say 'Hey, girl, how are you.' Applejack doesn't think Twilight's a child.
Err, sort of. It'll be further explained as the story progresses and it becomes more relevant.

Ohh
Witness
Witness
Are they not used to seeing ponies?
They have a town square?
I think you mean “Diane”.
An incident with vegetables? Didn’t even know that was possible.
Good plan
If that was me she would be sitting there for a long time.
“Mare”
Hope she does answer later.
That’s interesting
Just blast her.
Nevermind, maybe next time.
At that moment, I’m cutting that rope.
That’s the most bs excuse I’ve ever heard.
Way to jinx it, twilight.
