Ah, I like how blatant Rainbow's dementia is. Sure, at first its "ooooo fluttershy is trapped in a doll oooo" but it gets so wonderfully dreamlike and obviously untrue.

Discord is not handling her death well, but he's not gone mad.

The way he copes with the doll was way less unhealthy then his seclusion and lack of self-care.

Yeah, that stuff in her dream was due to paranoia (it made her dream up those outlandish scenarios), and the stuff when she was awake was hallucinations. I tried to write it to make it obvious that it was paranoid schizophrenia, though I definitely could've made it more obvious in hindsight.

Thanks for clarifying. Also I feel so bad for Discord. At least he has a way to cope with the loss that isn't too unhealthy. I hope there will be a sequel where Discord finally moves on and uses the doll to honor his wife's memory. It'd be a bittersweet ending.
