After many years in Tartarus, a framed alchemist named Solus is broken out by Queen Chrysalis and her army of changelings. He then has no other choice but to hunt down the Elements of Harmony, under Chrysalis' orders. But after an accident during his journey to Ponyville, he now has amnesia and is unable to do his magic.
After an event that triggered a flashback, Solus decides to embark on a small quest--along with his newfound friends and somepony he never expected to see--to repair the fragments of his past, before the changelings can make their next assault.
And who knows, maybe he can finally learn to trust somepony...
