Actually, Alchemy in TES: Oblivion has a very wide range of effects to use compared to Skyrim. For example, mixing Arrowroot with a Elf Cup cap allows you to create a Potion Of Fortify Strength.
Twilight with Elder Scrolls magic.... Mercy to us all
This reminds me of the 'Chess Game of the Gods'.
If you don't know what it is, it's a collection of stories like the discplaced, except it started out with one guy making fun of how, in almost all displaced stories the main character started out in the everfree forest, and gets in a relationship with their favorite of the mane six
Damn good story man, instaled Skyrim again just for it. Cant wait for more.

I know. Wasn't it started by the story Griffin the Griffin?

Horrifying yet interesting thought, innit?

Thanks! Before I started this story, I made a new account and got it to level 40 so I can explore and go where I need to go to see things and keep things in mind.

It was actually started by an author called 'Rust', with the story 'The ballad of Echo the diamond dog', sadly, 'Rust' has left the fandom.
Unless there is a way to make Conjuration into even darker thing by killing conjured familiars and other summoned stuff in order to refill Soul Gems I'd rather skip Enchanting entirely. This shit is darker than Necromancy.

Well, remember that unless it's a black soul gem, it's more like 'borrowing' a soul rather than 'stealing' it. And no, souls can't be taken from summoned entities because their souls go straight back to Oblivion, with the exception of unbound creatures such as wild Atronachs or unbound Dremora.
This is shaping up to be a very interesting story, I do hope Star get a chance to learn this new type of magic along with Twilight. Hell, it would be amusing if Star turns out to be better than Twilight at it.
Similar problem as the chapter before, it is overall skipable, too much info that really does not affect the story too much. Try to cut this info an put it in different chapters instead of bombarding one chapter with it. I do not mean to cause harm nor to attack the written I’m just giving what I consider constructive criticism
I hope he is capable of creating spells like you could in Oblivion and Morrowind, otherwise he's going to run out of variety real fast. Four flavors of Fire, Ice, and Lightning, and that's all he can do for attacks on living things without using Conjuration. Especially considering if he shares how Conjuration works, even summoning a Bound Sword would be considered dark magic since it's the soul of a Daedra bound to the form of a weapon.
WRONG!
This thing works just fine; found in Falkreath.

I was gonna comment about that, but you beat me to it. It felt a little wierd with the skull part.
But I guess the point could be made that the "Focus/Center" must simply have a closer connection to Aetherius. And a scrying ball certainly seems to be that.
i love skyrim love this story more thank u
