An ancient evil has been awakened?
Ah, Peryite has made his presence known. Who next?
I wonder how Peryite will further change Equestria from the one Ash knows..
The Daedric Prince of Pestilence.
Seems that Peryite has gained a foothold.
I'm thinking this is not daedra. It's another game no idea which one though.
If you know a decent amount of Elderscrolls lore it not hard to pinpoint. Though I do wonder what Peryite is up to. Since his other brothers and sisters haven't tried to muscle into this world yet, makes me wonder if/when we'll see more of them and which Daedra they will be.
If it's Daedra either Peryite or Vaerimina is spreading their influence. Only reason I'm saying Vaerimina is a possibility is because of the over sized rats.
Edit: Got Vaerimina and Namira mixed up.
If it is Peryite, he likely has Kobolds at hand, so it's possible they could have employed acid or poison-based spells, which the snow wolves would have had no resistance to, never having encountered such magick, Aetherial or Equestrian, before.
The Plague Dragon had his way with all the doggos
Peryite? That's my guess.
Having never played the Elder Scrolls games, I’m going to say it’s Peryite, because that’s everyone else’s guess so far!
A Prince has shown part of their power. The questions we must now ask are:
What balance is he keeping?
And what caused the imbalance in the first place?
I have three guesses:
1- By Ash being there and using Aetheirial magic he has drawn the attention of the daedra to Terra.
2- The Deadric Princes have always had influence on Terra but were unable to act due to something like lack of followers or people with knowledge about them; however, when Ash spoke their names and gave knowledge of them to the Princesses he unintentionally returned too them the power to affect Terra. Peryite being the first to take action as his influences take less energy than any other Deadric Prince.
3- The Deadra have been worshiped in secret for a long time and are just starting to act for some unknown reason that will be disclosed later on in the story.
Aside from obvious skyrim references, since the "god" mentioned their could be other displaced I'd like to think its the power of Nurgle
I much preferred the Oblivion version of Peryite, who was the Daedric Prince of... Tasks and hierarchy, I believe. Then they move from Elder Scrolls 4 to 5 and suddenly there's no mention of him being the taskmaster, just disease all of a sudden. Plus, isn't that part of Namira's sphere of influence, anyway? It always felt lazy to me.
I don't know about peryite in skyrim he kept the aflicted alive its a waste to just kill he gains nothing from it
definitely Peryite

I was going to say the same thing, but I'm not sure though feels too easy of a guess.

what other daedric princes deal with disease? I mean there is Namira... What with the rats at the end... Hmm
So will we get nightinggale nightguards?

Algae for the gross throne? Love your profile pic BTW.

Namira is the obvious choice. Peryite is a dragon, not rats (Skyrim retcons and outright lore-breaks aside).

well i mean, Peryite is the Daedric Prince of Tasks and disease, so it is natural to think that at first. But upon closer inspection of the info given, Namira would be the more likely answer as she is the prince of revulsion. Rats, Slugs, Insects, and beggars are within her sphere of influence. Although it would be surprising to find a cannibalistic Pony coven in the story.
Clearly Nurgle and Khorne were fighting over control of this pack and decided to split control 50/50.
Khorne never was very bright.
He should take one or a few of the pups as companions, after all that'll scare the shit out of his enemies.
Because imagine this: your about to be attacked then you call upon your companion a giant Wolf which you boost with spells, Now not only do your attackers have to deal with you but they also have to deal with a giant Wolf that with some spells could basically be on steroids (because they would have the same effects).
