The taco is real!

I like this I look forward to the spin-off stories you write for it.

This is a great base for many kinds of stories here. Really wish for a sequel, if not then oh well.

Beginning? Only if you can pull it off.

Please continue this

If you do will you have them chew out the Rainbooms for how they treated Sunset and even ban them from talking to her? As they only hurt her again.

I need more of this please

Thanks everyone, I do plan on writing several different sequels to this when I get more of Shadow of the Sun done or finish it. I was also hoping that some people may enjoy this idea and write some of their own spins on the idea. Some of the stories I plan include the Rainbooms being chewed out, some with reconciliation and others with the bare minimum of contact with anyone from Sunset's past for years before having to come back for some reason or another. Just not sure what to do first as of yet, and I do have another teaser to post sometime in the next few weeks when I get around to completing it. Unlike this one though, it will actually be chapter one of a whole new story instead of a starting point like this.

As she looked over to the Rainbooms and Twilight Sparkle she noticed that there were all off to the side celebrating. Or more accurately, the Rainbooms were celebrating talking over everything Twilight kept trying to tell them. Shaking her head as she couldn’t help feeling a little hurt at them still as she studied each and every one. Once again she was reminded how excluded she had been when it came to them since the Fall Formal.

Twilight Sparkle,! they! celebrating, or celebrating and! Would be better as “shaking her head, she couldn’t...”! “little hurt by them still as she studied each and every one of them.”! again,!

Btw I use exclamation points to separate each error.

As Sunset landed on the stage as the sirens ran quickly off the stage, she bent to pick up the remains of what were once heart crystals. She should feel proud that the powers of harmony chose her to be a bearer, even if she wasn’t entirely sure what aspect of the elements she represented. What ever it was, it added just enough power to not only stop the Dazzlings power, but completely overwhelm them returning the students they had under their control to normal.

I think they’re called heart stones or just their pendants but could just be the name I picked up from others it’s fine.
Also them,

Btw you need an editor or something just PM me.

Could she really blame them for only doing the bare minimum to include her in things? They usually used excuses to exclude her from slumber parties, the only one she had been to were the one Twilight had dragged her to in order to brainstorm ways to defeat the sirens. They had always turned down any suggestions she had when making after school plans and only invited her when they actually needed something. Even Fluttershy turned down any chance to spend time with her when Sunset wasn’t volunteering at the shelter.

was!

And fuck them for this.

When they created the band, the even ignored the few suggestions that maybe the could use another backup singer or guitarist. She had hinted as being a decent singer and even tried to show she could kill it on the Rainbow’s guitar only to have the instrument snatched away by Rainbow as soon as Sunset went to pick it up. Sunset knew she shouldn’t be upset that they didn’t invite her in the band since she didn’t outright come out and ask, but should she have needed to if they were really friends like they claimed?

they! they! Delete the “the” and put a comma after Rainbow’s guitar.

Looking away from them she could see Principal Celestia and Vice-Pricipal Luna making their way over to the Rainbooms declaring them the winner of the battle of the bands, the sea of students rushing the stage creating an even more divide between the Rainbooms and Sunset. Watching the two older woman brought a tear to Sunset’s eye as she remembered how concerned Celestia was after finding out Sunset was from a different world. She had immediately taken Sunset in with Luna eagerly accepting it and was in the process of adopting Sunset.

them,! Rainbooms,! bands.! rushed! larger!

Remembering the harsh words when Sunset tried to warn them of the sirens though brought a pain back to her heart that had been there since it happened. She wanted to believe they were totally under the sirens control and was forced to say those things. Sunset just couldn’t shake the feeling that none of the Dazzlings had enough power to do anything more than suggestions leaving the victim to go by what was really in their heart. If that was the case those words would have never been muttered. The two women would have maybe grounded Sunset or distracted her by some other means, they would have never said such hateful things if they did care.

their! Delete”though”! were! case,!

I’m going to stop for a bit but you may want to look over some of the stuff from this chapter. And if I’m being nit-picky I’ll stop, I’m just trying to help though.

9076755 Thanks, going to go through and fix the mistakes soon. I do have someone who does proofing for me, but After the Battle was just a quick one-shot for some story ideas I have and hoping others may like the idea and use it too. Thank you so much for pointing out these mistakes, have a 🌮
