This was one of the odder scenarios I've landed myself in, but ranks among one of my favourites.
Since my experience with the Tegmen I've had a lot off day dreams about other ways it could have gone... Less possible, but interesting in their own right. If there's demand, I may write them down and add bonus chapters to this tale – let me know!

This was interesting. I'd love to see more, even just Withania puttering around in her (or their, now) garden.
Very interesting and relaxed little story, I greatly enjoyed it. The pacing was good, although it would have been nicer to spin it out into a more full story, rather than just documenting the event.
The biggest thing I found to be missing was any description of the protagonist (except for the little bit at the end). A good thought process, when writing, is to imagine that every character is a naked, featureless blob of putty until you describe them to the reader.
The sexual nature of the plant came a little out of left field. I assumed it would have done exactly what it did to the bee to the mouse to her.
Pretty good for your third story. You have my watch.

Many thanks! Yes the 'documentary' section of this story was a bit of an experiment to try and cut down the first sequence, but given that I chaptered out this story anyway, I might as well have narrated in the end!
Additionally, I try not to pull too much focus as I fear that most people are more interested in the story than Withania as a character... I should have more faith that people have come here to read about my adventure, so to heck with modesty, I'll tell more about myself next time! :P

I really appreciated how well-written this was overall. Your use of descriptive prose is great, and you have a knack for making the reader forget they are reading and engage their imagination, bringing them into the character's experience more vividly. This story is something I'm taking lots of mental notes from to help with my own writing.

I actually find myself delighted to have read this. The prose of it is almost lyrical, the imagery is sparkly as a diamond just after being polished, and the flow of the story itself is as smooth and beautiful as a mountain stream as it trickles amongst the trees. Truly, one of the finest works I've read, despite being so short as it was. I especially loved the descriptions of what happened as you interacted with the Magnus Tegman.
...Would you, perchance, be willing to bequeath the use of it to me? Not for myself, but for the characters of my own story? You see, it's a crossover fanfiction where Twilight Sparkle meets someone from another world who is very much like her and, well, they're both very inquisitive about rare and exotic things, and this sounds like something they might enjoy indulging once in a while, especially Twilight–imagine how good she'd feel taking the occasional weekend to enjoy this sort of scenario with the Tegman?

Recent discoveries concerning the Tegmen had reveal "long term effects" which mean you don't want people to use this thing more than one or two times tops. But when I say 'non-canon' you can use it for simple fun times and not worry about said side-effects.
But yes, so long as someone says they got it from Withania that's fine, I appreciate the networking
