Sharing the Table

Only One is a unicorn, he is a happy one, who laughs at every joke, and always gives a standing ovation, regardless of the quality.

Tribot is a Pegasus, a cynical one, who grumbles at every wrongdoing, and looks at the world entirely through facts.

They share a table together.

This is what I think is called a self-insert? It's a version of it at least. I got the idea from CrackedInkWell's story Seven Self-Portraits.

This is a beautiful and heartfelt story and conveys a depth of emotion. It is breathtakingly written and shows a bond made by chance but strengthened by time. I am sorry for your loss but remember that a part of them lives on within you, in both your memories and your heart.
Friends are like balloons. Once you let them go, you can't get them back. So I'm going to tie you to my heart, so to never lose you. Even If a balloon has given up its air, or helium, it can still be saved to remember its meaning. Never forget those you have loved and lost for they can give you comfort when you need it, during times where you feel weak they will be there to give you the strength you need.
