At least Isaac got away from those damned Necromorphs.
I look forward to these installments every week, they are always the highlight of the day. You handled the accident beautifully, everything seems incredibly real all the way down to the crew cracking jokes to bleed tension during an absolutely insane moment. Most people have no idea how much training astronauts go through, and how many times they simulate every possible emergency before they're allowed in space. Chris Hadfield tells a story about how during a spacewalk he wound up completely blind and in pain, but at no point was he ever truly panicked because an incapacitated astronaut in space was just something else they'd trained for. The disparaging comment from Luna about the view was particularly well placed. I wouldn't have thought of it, but it makes sense.
Beyond that, lovely work and I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for David and Midnight.
PS: Perchance, would Isaac's last name be Clarke? :)
Yeah, I love Dead Space too (I'll NEVER forgive EA for what they did )
Keep up the good work my good man
Very well done!

Thank you. I really appreciate it :D I'm glad you got that detail with Luna too. I figured she would say something like that in that situation. The future will be a struggle though, no doubt about it. Next week will have a pretty serious chapter. Also, thanks. Fixed Isaac's name ;)

Thank you! I did want to make sure that chapter was well written. Hopefully you'll stick around for the next one...

Well... that was unsettling.

when is a crash ever settling?

Fair point

That makes more sense for sure.
When my brother had surgery to repair a cracked/cysted femur, they gave him morphine and apparently it caused him to hallucinate.
RIP Isaac
Have a misspelling.

Hey you stole my joke!

I'm with you Pal. I also Hate EA!
But I'm mostly hate konami with a passion.
For the love of Cthulhu, stress does not cause splitting headaches.
Not the ones that make you roll on the ground anyway.
Silly horsies.
It's ponification time.
The amount of times I’ve seen this trope is mildly annoying. For that to actually happen the cabin would need to be HIGHLY pressurized to unbearable levels. At a realistic pressurization it would just feel like a continuous gust of wind until there’s no more air. Just for example if said hole was small enough you could literally just put a binder or your hand over it to stop the rapid depressurization.
That being said…
…had this happened realistically, It would have been far more traumatizing. Seeing them still panicking and watching him in their last moments as they slowly die in the vacuum of space right in front of the door.
Well, at least he got away from the Markers and the Necromorphs.....
