Every Friday:D I'm so glad you like it!
Having to wait a week for each update is driving me nuts. At least I have something to look forward to every Friday. Really been enjoying this story so far.
This chapter, I like it.

"How in the hay am I going to do this?"
~ Saxophone music starts playing ~
Interesting read so far, I can't wait to see how his life as a pony will turn out.
Step one: Seek the assistance of a professional.

Well, I understand your opinion. I'm sorry you feel that way, but I think if you keep reading, you'll find that that's not what this story is about. I understand that what happened in chapter 3 might seem unbelievable, but don't forget that David was on a lot of drugs that numbed the pain as well. If that chapter ruined the story for you, then I'm sorry to see you go, but I appreciate you taking the time to read my story regardless. Even if it was only the first few chapters.

pony cuddles are best cuddles...even more so if theyre a mare

Agreed.
well freat chapter...good god the wait is killing me

I'm glad you're excited. Although, I'm not sure what a "well freat" chapter is? I'll just take it as you liked the chapter.

i blame sleep or the lack of it i meant "well, great chapter"

That’s fine
Without sounding like a broken record this chapter was great liked the interactions between the charcters. Celsetia and Luna's help isnt overbearing to the point of annoying, the only thing that slightly botherede me was how fast David's and midnights relationship is seeming to progress. I like these two, they both seem like good charcters, but they only interacted when he first got there and then didn't see each other for 3 weeks there after. Maybe a bit more friendship building before relationship building,Make them good friends or at least let it simmer for a bit longer. Besides my nitpicks about the story it is great so far for your first story, grammer is good, little to no spelling errors, and great believable charcter from the cannon charcters, No one seems out of charcter.

Don't worry about it. I really appreciate any and all feedback I get on my story. As for their relationship developing too fast, don't worry too much about it. The next few chapters will clear that up ;)
How backwards and unscientific.

Originally I used metric, but I figured most people who would read this live in the USA, so I figured more people would like it if I did that.

Well for what it's worth I'm based in europe. When I see "feet" or "yards" or anything imperial I just replace it with the word "pixie/pixies" since it might as well be magical little faeries to me xD That and imperial has this really bad habit of going into extreme lengths of being dificult just for the sake of being dificult. Not too long ago I heard someone say 10/1000th of an inch. Yes that's really easy to mentally picture in my flesh computer... Where as in metric you can go half a mm and you'd have a pretty good idea how much that is visually since rulers have mm's inbetween cm's.
Then again that's what I grew up with so of course that'd be the easiest for me just as I'm sure it's easier for an american to mentally visualize 10/1000th of an inch. But seriously imperial needs a couple extra measurements for length below inches...
Storywise it feels like it's all moving too quick. I get the whole rolling with the punches but it seems David is constantly going "sure I'll do that" whenever something is suggested. Hoping in the future chapters things slow down just a bit. I know personally it's hard to balance pacing in a story since too slow loses readers and too fast feels "off" to some. As well as the obviously budding "romance" from Midnight "and to a part David" it again feels just a tad rushed. She's not seen him for the better part of 3 weeks and before that at most she's seen him what for 48 hours? I understand that some experience "love at first sight" buuut it's also an alien and something completely. Well... Alien to their world. But I'm rambling and it's easy to sit on the benches and heckle so for that I apologize ^^; Gonna track the story and see where it leads. I do like some mushy human on pony cuddling. That stuff never gets old...

While Americans might be the largest percentage of readers, most, if not all scientists use the metric system. From meters all the way down to micrometers (and even lower), it's just more accurate. When science is involved, the metric system would make the most sense, however, our human isn't a scientist, so if he grew up somewhere that used feet, inches etc., then go for it.
Personally, I know about the imperial system, and some conversions of it to the metric one, but I grew up with meters and litres so that's what I'd use if I ever picked up writing again.
Oncoming tangent that is less related to the story and how using what system makes the most sense matters:
BTW, anyone know how the hell the weight thing came to be? A gram is almost/a little more than 2lbs (I can't remember which). One foot is just a little over 30 cm. The whole imperial system just feels inaccurate to me. Like, there exists an orb made from some metal that hardly decays at all locked in a vault in a science-laboratory of some kind, and that orb determines the exact measurement for 1kg? 1 gram? Something like that. As in, whatever that orb weighs, that is what we use when we say 1kg or something. What does the imperial system have for this? (Maybe it was the volume for 1L, if I wasn't lazy I could just google it up)

The kilogram is determined by a puck shaped cylinder in Paris, but I think they just recently voted to make the kilogram be determined by a natural constant, like the meter.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-fFRLWBzm8 < Video about the kilogram changing to a constant (I think)
How did I know that was her plan all along?
9585728
That's always the plan.
So Midnight's job is the equivalent of a quartermaster, except she's responsible of getting special items for the Night Guard.

One thing I learned very early.
Become best friends with the quartermaster and failing that do Not fuck with them.

Most Imperial measurements are old leftovers from before Britain went to metric. The inch is three barleycorns, for example, and the barleycorn is still used for shoe size here, but nothing else as far as I'm aware, and acres are based off... furlongs, I think, which was how much land an ox could plow without a break, if I remember correctly. Or maybe that was the league? Not really sure. Look up 'Old measurements' on Youtube, I guess. Someone did a pretty good video on it. Might've been SciShow.
Edited for spelling. Need sleep...
Quarter after two... D### my curiosity. Found the video.

An acre is apperently how much land a team of oxen can plow in a day.
