This feels bland, honestly. I get that Spike's supposed to be the bad guy, so we shouldn't sympathize with his outlook, but he doesn't come off as relatable at all. He comes off and delusional and self-centric. Which wouldn't be a bad thing, except for the bland execution. It doesn't feel like a dark glimpse into Spike's psyche, it just feels like a bunch of stuff that happened.

I'm glad I could be helpful. I might not have enjoyed the story very much, but I don't want to dump all over someone's work unless it's truly reprehensible. Which this wasn't. Better luck in your future endeavors.
