Grumpy Koala

Twilight and sunset lay on their bed, catching their breath from a particularly intense tickle fight. Twilight glanced over at the clock, it read nine thirteen, time to start winding down for the night. She ran her tongue along her teeth, they felt rough.

"Alright babe," Twilight said. "let's go brush our teeth and go to bed, we've got an early day tomorrow."

"Five minutes of cuddling first." Sunset says, throwing her arms wide indicating she wanted Twilight to come to her.

With a smile Twilight responds, "Let's brush our teeth first, then we'll cuddle." She sits up to start heading to the bathroom.

"Mhmm mhmm or," Sunset wraps her arms around Twilight's waist and pulls her back down. "we cuddle for five minutes, then we brush our teeth." She nuzzles into Twilight's hair a smile on her face.

Twilight laughs and tries to free herself. "Haha come on, it'll only take a second." Sunset tightens her grip on her girlfriend.

"This will only take five minutes." Sunset counters, and grabs Twilight's hand. She pulls it so it's around her waist. She then grabs Twilight's other arm and places it under head. "There we go, just five minutes, then we'll get ready for bed."

Twilight smiles to herself and starts to sing "In the Jungle". Before too long Sunset reaches behind her and lightly hits Twilight's butt, to which Twilight makes a sound like radio static and starts in on another catchy yet obnoxious song. This process is repeated several times before Sunset tickles Twilight's knee and critiques Twilight's cuddling.

"It's like you don't even want to cuddle me right now, your arms are just laying there like dead fish."

"Haha I just want to go brush my teeth." Twilight chuckled.

"And I just want to cuddle with you for five minutes." Sunset whined exaggeratedly. "I have needs."

"So do I, I need to brush my teeth." Twilight finds Sunset's most sensitive tickle zone on her hip and starts tickling her.

"Nooooo, just give me five minutes." She says while struggling against the urge to release her captive.

"Come on Sunset, my breath stinks and I just want to brush my tee-hahahah!" Her words are cut short as Sunset's fingers find their way into her armpits.

"You brought this on yourself!" Sunset says as she repositions herself on top of Twilight. "This is your punishment, aggressive cuddles!" She flops down and wraps her arms around Twilight, a fake frown on her face.

Twilight laughs and is able to get one arm free. She tries to get at Sunset's hips but, quick as lightning Sunset had her fingers intertwined in her own. Twilight feels her girlfriend's grip tighten as she tries to get her hand out.

"You know, I don't think this is fair." Twilight says.

"Whatever do you mean? I just wanted to hold your hand." Sunset says, making her eyes big and innocent.

"Is that so? Well can I have my hand back for a moment?"

"No." she says curtly and lays her head on Twilight's chest, making herself comfortable.

Twilight tries again to get free, nearly making it before Sunset readjusts and recaptures her hand. The two grapple for a minute, Sunset regaining her grip on Twilight's hand before planting a kiss on Twilight's lips.

"You know, we could be brushing our teeth by now if you'd let me have my way." Sunset says with a wink.

"You stinker!" Twilight takes advantage of Sunset's cockiness to wriggle out from under her and start to get off the bed. She doesn't get far before she feels legs wrap around her waist. She turns around to try to get free, but as soon as she turns to face Sunset she is launching her torso at her. Sunset wraps her arms around twilight who is now supporting both their weight.

"I'm a grumpy koala now." Sunset says as she leans back enough to look Twilight in the eyes with an exaggerated frown plastered in her face.

Twilight laughs and loses her balance, causing them to both fall back into the bed. She gets her hands on the bed and pushes them back up. She turns them toward the door and starts to walk toward the door.

Sunset looks twilight in the eyes again with the same frown. Raising her eyebrows to make her eyes bigger and says, "Grumpy koala!"

Twilight laughs loudly and falls back in the bed now stuck under Sunset. She tickles her sides which causes Sunset to release her. Twilight stands up triumphantly but starts running toward the kitchen when Sunset starts chasing her. She heard the sink in the bathroom running.

"Where are you going babe?" Sunset calls from the bathroom. "We've got to brush our teeth and go to bed."

Twilight sees the smug, toothpastey smile of her girlfriend in the mirror as she enters. She puts toothpaste on her own toothbrush, playfully glaring at Sunset Shimmer.

"Honeshtly, I don't know why you're meshing around sho late." Sunset says around her tooth brush.

Twilight laughs and smacks Sunset's butt. "Brat."

Sunset spits into the sink and washes it out. "Yeah, but you love me."

Twilight follows suit. "Don't know why." She says with a wink before kissing her.

"Now we cuddle, and I get to be little spoon." She starts heading to rthe bedroom. "For all the trouble you put me through."

Twilight smiles and shakes her head. "Fine, you weirdo." They take their positions on the bed. Twilight giving little kisses to Sunset's neck and cheek until they fall asleep.

I hope you liked this cute little fluff story. It's actually based on an interaction between me and my SO :) I was the grumpy koala ;P

AHHH! That was cute! I liked how Sunset was acting like complete child and then immediately go to usual, care free Sunset then right back to being childish. Also, Not sure if you meant to but, there were A LOT of sentences that after reading over once, you have to go back and read it again thinking; 'there is something else I can see being there'. Sunset as the little spoon...honestly didn't see that coming.
