Deneld the Unspooked

You are an idiot.

Hark, and come hither, ye curious gentlefolk. Take heed to your Princess' glorious tale of valour and heroism against those dastardly slubberdegullions who would seek to make our glorious city of Canterlot a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

(Unless thou livest under a rock, thou knowest already that this beeth a crossover of Batman. Not to offend those of you who do take comfort in such mineral dwellings.)

DenaldtheTramp doing a rated E story? I don't think Luna is the only one having a fever dream.

Pretty good for such a short story.

This looks like something Luna would write. I kind of like the hammy dialogue.

7577502 Considering how well-received this one is so far compared to my m-rated stuff, perhaps I should write stuff like this more often.

7577598 Ham and cheese: part of a balanced breakfast.

I can't leave a like. Oh well, guess I'll leave a dislike. :trollestia:

Why do I have the image of a sick filly Luna refusing to forego playtime to rest in my head.

“Soft!” we interrupted. We had nary the stomach for the cruel mare’s taunting.

I don't understand. Is it missing something?

I suspect this is because Luna is literally ill with something and her sister is forcing her to consume horrible-tasting but necessary medicine.

7577598 given the general story it's pretty evident there's quite some (Luna's) ego in there.

7578517 "Soft" is basically Shakespearean for "shut up". So she interrupted Celestia by telling her to shut up. The more you know.

That was pretty good, though I do have one question: Why did you have Luna use 'we' and Celestia use 'I?' Minor complaint, but I would think Celestia would use 'we' as well since she has the same royal status as Luna.

That's a ricidulously minor complaint, though. Good job.

7579398 If I remember correctly, Luna in canon is just used to referring to herself with the royal "we" regardless of familiarity. Celestia would definitely be using it if she were addressing, say, foreign dignitaries at a formal international gathering.

7579418 I must have missed that part, but I admit it's been quite a while since I saw the Luna episodes. My impression was that using 'we' was part of the Royal Canterlot Voice or something.

I was more curious than anything else, though, so thanks for clarifying.

"Gerard's Way"? Really?

I wonder how many other people caught it? :rainbowlaugh:

7579439 Is this based on the movies or the series? Could you make one off the movies staring Rainbow dash?

7610612 I'm actually considering this. Or maybe even a whole mane six DC comics crossover, guest-starring Trixie as the villain.

7611298 Cool. Hope to see them soon.
