781293 If it were any other company I would say definitely maybe, but they aren't usually the ones to do things for an artistic purpose. At least, not for a while, they usually do things to be silly, or to avoid legal action. Though, i highly doubt anyone will sue them for using a term from Christianity unless the pope dies for the millionth time in Inferno mode. More likely it was a blunder they made early on, and decided it was cheaper to role with it than to spend the money remaking dialogue when all the consumers wanted was to destroy everything that moved. To which i plead guilty...

795467 That is kind of debatable. I bring up the fact that Blizzard will do things to be silly. The reason behind Whimsyshire was actually because a few fans called Diablo 3's original color palettes 'cartoonish' and said it might as well have rainbows and unicorns in it, and some game developers said, "Hey, fuck them. We will make a land of rainbows, teddy bears, flowers, and unicorns that will be filled with sunshine happiness and blood!" even though everyone thinks it was based on MLP, that was merely speculation and what everyone wishes to believe. So I must disagree with you, despite the fact I wish it was based on MLP, I also stand firm in the fact that Blizzard doesn't do artistic things on purpose. They stumble around until they trip over a good idea, show it off, let you covet it, then hit it with a patch and ruin it eternally. World of Warcraft is my evidence to this, for it's fate has been the cruelest of Blizzard's games.

796471 I am well versed on the reasons for why it came to be, however Asset names in (at least) some releases of the game have references to characters in G4 MLP (FiM) the most obvious reference is "Nightmare is Magic" giving reference to the title "Friendship is Magic"

Although the reason the Pony Level came to be was because they were taking the piss of poor customers (Which I am happy they did) Hard facts say that there are references (Using Artistic License) to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
796724 A solid argument, well done. I had not run into these rares myself and remained unaware to them. However, I still doubt it was a planned thing the entire time, seems more like a last minute name add to rare mobs to me, but my outlook on blizzard perhaps is a little biased. Though I love their games and have been a sucker for them since Warcraft 2, time and time again they have failed expectations recently. And though it may be called an artistic license, Blizzard does it no justice in my eyes. So, i guess we can agree to disagree on this one.
796785 I can heartily agree with you the Blizzard failed expectations. I LOVED Diablo 2 but they killed what made Diablo 2 fun for me. Seems a lot of the Games industry seems to be getting dearer in the games they produce.
In Blizzards defence, it is VERY hard to make something that is a reference to something like MLP:FiM without having to pay Royalty etc to the company that produces that item (In this case Hasbro) Taking away the fact Hasbro would (hopefully) never let Blizzard use MLP ponies as target practice for heros!
But yes, as long as you are not being one of these people who ignore evidence I can agree to disagree.
I know this is going to sound ridiculous but try inserting a male Druid (I know it was a Diablo 2 thing). I just think in this environment a Druid could cause a lot of interesting events without realizing (At least events that wouldn't be feared as much as the other 2).

Don't expect the appearance for several chapters though, I do have a somewhat planned ahead story line... Somewhat.

Male DH would be fun, because Demon hunters are fulled by discipline which barley controls their hatred.

820429 I'm still laughing to myself on the letter, mainly because no one has pointed out that Bannuk could not write it on his own yet. Was trying to catch Nethelli with it, because he would be the first person to complain, but alas... More will be explained in the next chapter.

823475 Adding the Demon Hunter has been a challenge to me. Finding a spot to fit him into my story line without simply magicking him out of Bannuk's ass has been tough. Although, it will be coming and I am thinking of adding it fairly soon. All I need is the right scene for an intro, because a character introduced this far into the story that will stick around to the end needs an epic intro to let people get the feel of how the Demon Hunter acts.
Be assured however... There will be blood...
