Butler and Diane have been waiting for their baby to arrive. Their wait goes sideways when Arceus whisks them away to a fantastic new world, along with every other human and Pokemon deemed worthy enough. Awakening in a strange new world near a small town called Herd Valley, separated from her husband, Diane must reunite with him before their baby arrives, and possibly do something about the strange egg that she found next to her.
Meanwhile, an evil group takes advantage of the confusion of the Pokemon's appearance to carry out their scheme.
Good to see this is up, I'm rooting for ya.
I like how you started this story with something in Equestria. In all too many Newverse fics, the MLP aspect feels like an afterthought. I also like how, judging from the description, you have an endgoal planned out.
Not bad
So, The Great Butler and his wife Diane from "Jirachi Wish Maker". This could be interesting.

I do have an endgoal in mind. I'm one of those writers who needs to know how a story is supposed to end otherwise I'll end going nowhere.

That's right. I noticed that those two were not yet claimed on the Pokemon canon character list on Google Docs, and I had been on a Pokemon movie kick at the time of the story's conception, pardon the pun, so I thought they'd make interesting story protagonists. I have yet to see a story touch on humans who were pregnant or having a child before Arceus warped them to Equestria, so this story was born, pun intended.
7967388 The problem with a lot of Newverse fics, especially the original one, is that the characters don't really have a goal. They just... search for the team and try to get the locals to understand them? In this story, the reunion is the goal instead of an afterthought. That was what I was going to do in Growing Up in a New World, but I got bored of writing it.
Also, this story reminds me of this time someone in the Newverse group suggested that a pregnant person would end up with an egg.
Were those last two sentences supposed to be in quotation marks?
