Based off of Carbon Maestro's D&CT. Derpy is handed a map by a unicorn in her shop. The map has an alicorn amulet symbol on it and is in the middle of the ever free forest. Derpy drags Carrot Top along with her into the forest where they find ruins of an old town. They find themselves in old ruins of a small town.

8026426 Yeah, I didn't really have a grammar checker until nearing the end of the book. I went back and edited all the ones it showed me but it is a program and cannot find everything. I also didn't write as well as I could have now about a year or so later. I'm planning on eventually going back and proof reading, re-writing sentences, and fixing errors. For now I'm just trying to find inspiration to finish the next chapter in the second book.
I thought i would make my own version of his intro poem, just for fun
Citys old in skys long past
In an ancient forest, a city so vast
A castle brilliant like the sun and moon
But the mare within, a ragging, storming typhoon
Our unsung heros are soon to find
The secret of the woods, a mare confined
However journeys are rarely so streamlined
But how are ponys to grow, there feelings intertwined
